    Death Awaits
HITMAN 3 is the dramatic conclusion to the World of Assassination trilogy and takes players around the world on a globetrotting adventure to sprawling sandbox locations. Agent 47 returns as a ruthless professional for the most important contracts of his entire career.

Supported by his Agency handler, Diana Burnwood, 47 joins forces with his long-lost friend Lucas Grey. Their ultimate mission is to eliminate the partners of Providence, but they are forced to adapt as their hunt intensifies. When the dust settles, 47 and the world he inhabits will never be the same again.
    Top of the World
Every mission location in HITMAN 3 is meticulously detailed and packed full of creative opportunities. Players will have unrivalled freedom to complete their objectives and the game world will react to everything they do.
    A Platform of Assassination
The World of Assassination trilogy is fully realised with HITMAN 3 as the ultimate place to play all three games. Players of previous HITMAN games will be pleased to know that it will be possible to 'import' locations that they own from the previous two HITMAN games into HITMAN 3, essentially putting all 20+ locations from the entire trilogy in one place.

Playing the entire trilogy from beginning to end, from within HITMAN 3, also means that the progression systems in HITMAN 3 work across all locations. You can unlock an item in Dubai and take it with you to Paris, for example. HITMAN 2 players will have the option to carry over their hard-earned unlocks and progression into HITMAN 3.

Taken individually, Hitman 3 feels like great value, with plenty of variety and lots to do. When taken as a whole, the World of Assassination trilogy is hands-down one of the best and most complete-feeling trilogies in video game history. It’s a fitting finale for 47 – at least for now – and it has naturally left me thrilled to see what IO does with James Bond or whatever else comes next. It might only be January – but I can pretty much guarantee this will end the year as one of my 2021 favourites.

There's simply not a lot of stealth-action games that can hold a candle to Hitman III, with its hours upon hours of engaging gameplay and high replayability. The sheer variety of different locations and missions, and also the inclusion of all the legacy content, turns this title into something you don't want to miss at the start of 2021.

Hitman 3 builds on the structure of its predecessors but doesn't recycle old mechanics. Its creative sandbox systems encourage multiple playthroughs with possible outcomes only limited by your imagination. Returning fans will get the most of this narrative as it ties up a few loose ends but doesn't totally stick the landing. It's absolutely brilliant in execution, though, as you replay missions for different results providing the most robust experience to those who spend the most time playing.

A must-buy for fans of the Stealth genre, and a safe bet for those looking for a well-crafted third-person escapade that combines solid gameplay with high-quality, movie-like production values.

HITMAN 3 concludes the trilogy started in 2016 in style, on almost all points. The level design shows itself as always brilliant, while the scenario really makes things evolve. This new iteration can also be a valid entry point for new gamers.
  6. Hitman 3 is a great finale for the World of Assassination trilogy. With VR support exclusive to PlayStation, it is definitely a game you shouldn't miss.

Hitman 3 isn’t a game that I would call bad in the slightest, but it hasn’t done a lot to wow me out of the gate. It feels more like an expansion than a showy, new sequel. Still, even with a handful of drawbacks, the promise is there that this will only continue to be a game that grows and gets better over time.

I've loved the Hitman series since 2012 and have loved every game in the series, and Hitman 3 is no exception. IO have put out another gameI've loved the Hitman series since 2012 and have loved every game in the series, and Hitman 3 is no exception. IO have put out another game full of engaging missions and a storyline that is full of surprises. Also if you think the graphics are the same as the first or "dated" you should watch a comparison video, as they are a big improvement with each sequel. Some have said its "boring" but if you enjoy stealth games or Hitman then you'll enjoy this one as well. Those who can't enjoy it are likely casual gamers or not fans of Hitman/Stealth. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I played all the hitman games, it is one of the few franchises I trust to buy without checking reviews. So let me be clear, hitman 3 is not a bad game. It is more of the same, but it feels more lazy. Like when you see someone going to the toilet, do his thing, going to wash his hands and afterwards just going back to the toilet again. I know you must repeat things, but these short cycles? It is also not without bugs, even crashes...

Also I noticed that it is very easy to kill the targets, there is mostly a moment where they are completely alone. Or when I can kill a target while there is a guard sitting in the same room. 47 still has a problem with ramps and cannot cross a little bit of water. It is silly and also the AI is stupid. I think they can see through walls or something. I had some trouble getting a guard, it was nearly impossible, but suddenly I found 2 guards talking with each other. So I hit the first man with a fish to the head, I repeated it for the second guard. No problemo.

It is very easy to obtain the highest 'suit' so you can walk everywhere without any problem. I think the previous hitman did a better job there. But ok, it is not only about that in this game.

So I liked the levels, they are looking great. There are some blind spots. I started a level and thought: ok let's get a new suit! Few minutes later I had one. And you should think it is more difficult with a level where they have tiers? Nope, the keys are laying everywhere, you can just grap one. The person standing next to it will not say anything. I really liked the level with the big rave, I lost my sense of direction, I used the map for the first time. There is also a lot to do on the map, different areas.

The graphics are looking odd, it can be my settings. How the people are moving, talking, looking and behaving, it feels like it is too old. But I must say, it did not spoil my fun.

So in conclusion, it is a good game, it maybe must age and ripe a bit, before it is better and maybe even perfect. There is nothing new and like I said, it feels a bit lazy at moments. Still I think I will have a great time doing all the challenges etc.

What could be a great game ruined by ridiculous quirks that should be long gone by now.

Very much a long time fan, a beautiful game, but,
What could be a great game ruined by ridiculous quirks that should be long gone by now.

Very much a long time fan, a beautiful game, but, for the love of god there are some things that are so unforgiveable.

The settings are amazing, so much detail, hidden little pieces all over the place.

The story is brilliant, played out over 1, 2 and now 3 explaining, who 47 is, brilliant and I never saw some of it coming.

The characters are fully fleshed out and the hits, brilliantly executed, BUT.....

The AI, ye gods, when will IOI listen to what the players have been saying?, it's just so shonky, it's not funny. NPC's that see you through the tiniest of cracks, through solid walls, hear "silent" take downs and investigate simply "because", or spot you with no reflective surfaces while with their backs to you. This isn't as if this is something new either, players have been reporting for YEARS how bad the AI is on the NPC's and IOI have done exactly nothing.

And now we have Freelancer mode. WTAF!!!

Put all those bugs into an unforgiving layout, then jack the bugs up to 11. It's not even funny. You get halfway or three quarters of the way through a syndicate campaign, kill the target, and because there are decoys, they take the decoys to an exit, there is NO indication they are a threat to you, you try to exit, and they kill you, no warning, just dead and that's hours of work ruined because, if you die the campaign is reset and IOI are too lazy or too stupid, take your pick, to do their job properly.

A great game ruined by slap dash programming.

I had given a rating of 5, now dropped to 3. On Freelancer mode, if you die in normal mission you lose that map, take a hit on your money and lose your tools and weapons you took with you but not those you had at the safe house.

If you get killed on a "Leader" mission you loose ALL tools even at the safe house, financial hit, keep the weapons at the safe house, and the campaign is reset to the start.

Just killed on a regular mission, yet due to IOI's slap dash rush to use Freelancer mode to get more money, and releasing the update before it was ready, I got killed on a regular mission on the final level but got reset as if it were a Leader mission.

I'd call IOI incompetent, but they don't even rate that well. They've become another Dev more interested in milking their game for every last penny they can out of their customers, then getting the game right.

Just another bunch of morally bankrupt, self serving grifters.

You want to earn some points back IOI, let us turn off the voice of that sanctimonious, arrogant patronising Diana, the last thing I need to hear after your shonky piece of software has just screwed me over for the umpteenth time is her voice prattling on.

Price was increased after steam release. It's the worst VR mode ever made. Don't buy this game.
