Inspired by games like DayZ, Minecraft and Stalker – Rust aims to create a hostile environment in which emergent gameplay can flourish. The aim of the game is to survive. To do this the player should gather resources. Hitting a tree with a rock will give you wood, hitting a rock with a rock will give you rock and ore. You can then craft a hatchet from the wood and rock, allowing you to gather faster. You can go out and hunt a variety of wildlife such as boars, chickens, rabbits, bears, wolves and deer. Once you have killed an animal you can butcher it to gather its meat and skin. You can craft a fire using wood and cook the meat inside the fire. Then you can eat. You face two major dangers in game. Rust is a multiplayer game, so there will be other players trying to survive in the same way that you are. Unfortunately for you they can find you, kill you and take your stuff. Fortunately for you – you can kill them and take their stuff. Or maybe you can make friends and help each other survive. Rust’s world is harsh – so you might need to make friends to survive. The environment is not kind. Bears and wolves will chase and kill you. Falling from a height will kill you. Being exposed to radiation for an extended period will kill you. Starving will kill you. Being cold will kill you. Expand

Rust goes where no other survival game has and provides an incredibly threatening experience that, like a car accident, is equal parts horrifying and mystifying.

Rust is a brutal game, an intense and often sadistically punishing hell with a great potential and a new look.

Rust is a malicious experience rife with betrayal, cruelty and greed. That can make it both frustrating and sublime in equal doses.

Rust is still as addictive as it was. Maybe, because of its early success, we expected more from it, and in that case it can be disappointed. It still needs to be polished and improved, but at its core, Rust is a great crafting and survival game.

For competitive players who want a mix of survival and crafting, Rust is the best there is; for everyone else, there are plenty of other games.

PvP-heavy survival game for gamers resistant to frustration, with weaknesses in construction and discovery.

Its lack of survival depth and inclination to only reward time served instead of clever play saps whatever life it might have had to give.

    Excelente ideia.
Bom jogo de sobrevivência, com um sistema de criação casa e itens (armas) muito da hora.
    warz, mais minecraft, igual Rust.

Will say the developers have done much over the years to improve the game. Unfortunately being a survival game seems to bring out the worse in players (ie - toxic player environment & seems to be getting worse). Being a new player (solo) going to a populated server be prepared for a lot of frustration (highly likely to be picked on - hard..). The game has reverted back to a system where you have to learn how to make virtually everything, making going solo even for experienced players extremely difficult. Offline raiding the norm with lots of players that seem to have nothing better to do with their time. Game can easily turn into a time 'black hole' trying to keep ahead of raiders. Having to get authorization for every trap in friends base (and living in a time zone 8 hrs. different than most friends - like me) can be a nightmare. Visually & functionally the game is quite good, unfortunately many of the players make it not worth the effort. Also (with friends help) can build a virtual Fort Knox but come the start of the next month all you'll have is a torch & a rock without any clothes or a home. Expand

Unfortunately Valve/Steam released the Alpha at 20$ a copy, well before the game was playable. Between the constant server downtime, massive lag spikes, and hackers galore, I'm not sure who is enjoying their experience with Rust. Especially since you can't save your game. Nothing more frustrating than losing everything to a zombie and a lag spike, only to have the same thing happen again five more times, before the server finally crashes. This is 20$ I wish I had back. Expand

Developed a system to run rig with just a compound bow and they nerfed rig to nolonger have recycler. Got into using balloons and they blocked the windows so theres only one exit (balloons land near to random and sometimes you will find your door in front of a wall and then you realize the balloon is stuck... only two options then, destroy balloon with 1k+ health or just /kill and come back for body, when you used to just use the other two portholes) and implemented newer flying vehicles that aren't necessary and break the game more than rig could. The graphics are sh!t, the game runs like @ss, and the people are all d!cks due to their constant struggle with the game. Personally don't understand why all games have to be so **** I came to this game hoping for inspiration and encouragement that the game industry is doing well because its a bit of a indie title and 76 went around saying it was gonna be a rust clone before it released buggy and broken... like this one. At least their halfway honest I guess. Don't buy. Not even on steam sale. I wouldn't even recommend playing for free because it is so frustrating, hurts the eyes and has no true depth or fun anymore. They just keep making the game worse too. I had better graphics when i started and now it looks worse than minecraft... which is really saying something. Expand
