Rainbow Six Siege is an accessible and deeply satisfying shooter that rewards planning and teamwork over a quick trigger finger.

An excellent and innovative breath of fresh air. The more I play, the more I like. I hope this is new role model for shooters to come. [Jan 2016]

Multiplayer is the key word for this game, because you will gain nothing from Siege if you are looking for a single player experience.

Although the single-player side of the game is weak, Rainbow Six: Siege's multiplayer modes are a huge amount of fun. Tense, thoughtful, and tactical, they play very differently to most run-and-gun shooters. While the game's content does feel a little slim at launch, there's no denying it's highly enjoyable to play - especially when you have a team of players working together.

My time with Siege leaves me feeling like this Rainbow Six revival is a skeleton with not a lot of meat on its bones.

Rainbow Six Siege delivers on its promise of tension, tactics and teamwork, but it might not be worth AU$70; there are bugs both big and small that need squashing, there's no server browser, and connection errors are too common. There's something else to consider, too: PC players have been abandoning multiplayer-only titles in record time this year.

Rainbow Six Siege‘s core concept, namely its destructible world and reliance on communication-based strategy, is strong, but everything surrounding it seems to falter.

The game has been praised for its intense and strategic gameplay, which puts a heavy emphasis on teamwork and communication.

    Pros:
Deep and tactical gameplay that rewards players for careful planning and teamwork.
A huge roster of operators with unique abilities and gadgets, providing endless replayability.
A thriving community of players, with a dedicated player base that is always ready to welcome new players.
Constant updates and new content being added, keeping the game fresh and exciting for years to come.
    Cons:
Steep learning curve for new players, with a high skill ceiling that can take time to reach.
Persistent issue with toxic behavior from some players, which can be a major turn-off for some.
Inconsistent matchmaking system, which can result in unbalanced matches.

Despite these flaws, Rainbow Six Siege is still a fantastic game that is a must-play for fans of tactical shooters. The deep and tactical gameplay, combined with a huge roster of operators and a thriving community, make it a game that you can play for years to come.

I gave Rainbow Six Siege a 9 out of 10 because it is an incredibly well-designed and well-executed game that provides players with a unique and engaging experience. The deep and tactical gameplay, combined with a huge roster of operators and a thriving community, are the key reasons why I believe the game deserves that score.

The game's few shortcomings, such as the steep learning curve and persistent issue with toxic behavior, do not detract enough from the overall experience to warrant a lower score. Instead, they add to the challenge of the game and provide players with the opportunity to overcome obstacles and improve their skills.

Ultimately, I believe that Rainbow Six Siege is a top-notch game that provides players with a truly unforgettable experience.

Despite being from Ubisoft, I can assure you that this game is very good. If you are a person who likes to play competitively, I recommend it.
It is a very realistic game, tactical and strategic, that is, a difficult game.
If you really want to be a professional in this game, it will take you many hours. I, for example, to stop being useless, I had to play 24 hours. But with patience and dedication, you can fall in love with this great title.
The tension that gives you when playing, is great, and the feeling when winning a round, indescribable.
Each character has a different ability and that makes it more entertaining. For example, we have one of the Russians, Fuze, who throws numerous grenades into a room through a wall or window. It is very annoying, but for this we have in the opposite team, Jager, which can place in the room, an artifact that eliminates the bombs that enter the room, that is, Fuze is ****
If you want to unlock new characters without using real money, I must announce that it is very expensive, and needs MANY hours of play.

In short, I recommend your purchase if you are a patient player and veteran / professional in the shooter.

PS: To play it I recommend that you have good helmets and good Internet. Another important point to comment, is that I do not recommend buying the "starter edition" version (€ 15), it's not worth it. Buy the normal edition.

The characters had unique but not overpowered abilities (for the most part). The game had and still has its flaws; like problems with net-code and aim but overall i enjoyed it.
Until they had decided to remove half of the maps from competitive scene and add characters with abilities like from overwatch. I know they did remake those maps, and thats good. But the problem is those maps still have same problems they had before remake: like spawnpeeking.

I don't despise this game, but i think things need to be changed in order to revive its old charm.

It's marred by the traditional cripplingly low time-to-kill ratio, 1-death-and-you're-out match structure, grenade spamming, defense-oriented camping that puts the attackers at an inherent disadvantage, and of course, aggressive, insulting and unwelcoming players, even more so then most FPSs. If anything could make me nostalgic for Counter-Strike, it would be the Rainbow Six series. I actually managed to slip on the edge of a roof and fall to a downed state in an area where no one was able to revive me. Realism in games is not fun. All I can say is, I'm glad I didn't pay for this game Expand

Another sold-out franchise that became an open kiosk selling bad skins.

Vegas 2 was one of the best games ever... this is such a fall...

Acrobatics firing over-powered assault rifles full auto, fully accurate that don't care for shields and armor. Seriously. Shotguns and grenades... etc just all useless.

No single player campaign... none. No Terrorist Hunt that's real or of any substance like in Vegas 2. Just some cheap, trashy T Hunt that no one's played in years.

Ranked is a joke, I played it once and no one cared... everyone just ran off in different directions and died. Or people who know map exploits are going to kill you through pin holes or areas you really can't get to. Some are on-spawn...

There's nothing here but a very basic game that's built into a big kiosk.

Vegas 2 compared to this is like a real game... this is just another under-developed, cookie-cutter rip off.

Want casual challenges? Even your Lone Wolf is timed 10 to 15 minutes. lol Rush it.

    There's no content here.

I WANT to play this... but I'm never inclined. It's work to play it. It's willpower to stay with it.

It's just a gank fest with spray and pray.

So many replays are hilarious... especially how inaccurate someone was shooting at you and somehow knocking you out in some random hit.

Sometimes you'll just die... for no reason. Then you view the replay, and someone runs out from a corner and kills you.. but this was not visible on your screen AT ALL. lol No lag either... Who the hell knows.

That's the other thing... hacked to death. Hacks hacks hacks. Location always known and being shot through walls. You can tell because people run EXACTLY to those points immediately. You can see plenty of examples on Youtube.

No game in this just another dog#$%& kiosk. Spend more money!
