The quirky story, solid mechanics, awesome boss fights, and gorgeous animations all made it easy to overlook the minor flaws. The unlikely rabbit and turtle duo left quite an impression on me. In fact, I could certainly see Dr. Jonathan Banfield standing beside the likes of Quote, Lemeza, Aban Hawkins, and other indie greats.
If you're looking for a platformer with some action, this is a great choice, and also an interesting example of what indie Japanese developers can achieve.
The world design and story is wacky, interesting and immersive.

Summary An ancient evil has been set loose, and Jonathan cursed in the process. Jonathan has to collect seven holy grails from around all of Egypt to cleanse himself of the curse of Sehur the first. Be delighted by the quirky humor, charming characters, and the beautifully designed world, in Pharaoh Rebirth+.
