It may offer nothing new from past ports, but even in its creaky age, Resident Evil 4 remains a stone-cold classic. From its terrifyingly opening to the final getaway, it’s a hell of a ride that most AAA single-player campaigns only wish they could be.

A wonderfully cheesy narrative, brilliant level and character design, stunning art direction, and some of the best shooting mechanics ever made all coalesce into a legend of the video game industry. Resident Evil 4 HD absolutely needs to be in everyone’s Switch library.

No matter if it is your first time dealing with the plagas or you know RE4‘s map like the back of your hand, this is a worthwhile version that should be replayed. Even in 2019, this is still Capcom’s crowning achievement and a master class in game design.

Resident Evil 4 is still as timeless as ever, but due to its high price-point on Switch, we suggest waiting for a sale before pulling the trigger on this one.

Resident Evil 4 is one of the best and most influential games ever made, but this version feels a little bit lazy. Capcom could’ve improved the performance or include new controls to make the most of the hardware, but it hasn’t. This won’t prevent you from enjoying the game, of course, but such a masterpiece deserved better.

Resident Evil 4 is still a legend in its own way, but these regular new versions never bring anything new to the table. Even worse, this Switch is showing how old is the the game, on a technical standpoint.

Resident Evil 4 on Nintendo Switch is always a masterpiece, and still the same port we have seen on every other platform.

The alle-time masterpiece and now on the portable.
The gameplay is satisfying in specially because there are those amazing movies you kick them in the head and can make soup Lexus on zombies.
Story is just a viral amount of cheese so it is entertaining .
, It is a good port to the Nintendo switch and a Pro Controller makes in play amazing box frame rate dropped that the game likes to go from 60 to 40 to 60 again but it is mostly in portable mode In docked mode it is mostly solid.
, The only bad part is that there's only one worth it and Evil 4 and when you have played it once you can never let it go you will become a person who will played once a year

    The bad:

    - very expensive for a game that originally came out in 2005. Honestly, this game is half the price on other platforms - no gyro

    - no gyro controls. They work great on resident evil revelations 2. Why not here?
    - no extras. Ada' side missions, mercenaries, etc.
    - In terms of graphics, audio and fx, this game is looking its age

    The good:

    - It's one of the best games ever made
    - good performance docked and handheld
    - You can play it on the toilet
