Oct 5, 2020The original Super Mario Bros. is a game that has been there for me since childhood. It's always been a nostalgic security blanket, the video game equivalent of comfort food. It's nice and familiar, but not especially challenging or exciting. Super Mario Bros. 35 took this classic and truly gave it new life. I feel excited, tense and downright giddy about this game for the first time since I was a child.

Oct 1, 2020Super Mario Bros. 35 is not your typical BR game where balance changes come left and right, forcing you to adapt to new metas every few weeks. It’s the kind of game where even if you come to it late or take breaks from it, you aren’t going to be painfully behind the pack. You can pick this up either as a 2D Mario veteran or noob and have fun with it. Unfortunately, this game will only be playable until March 31, 2021, and I hope that isn’t the case.

Oct 22, 2020Super Mario Battle Royale, as simple as that. It's free and highly addictive but pay attention... you'll need nerves of steel to prevail.
-
Oct 8, 2020Combining battle royale with classic Mario gameplay, Super Mario Bros. 35 is an interesting and fresh idea that could use some more depth.
-
Oct 16, 2020The classic Super Mario Bros. is getting refreshed because of this game. Even though the core gameplay remains unchanged, Super Mario Bros. 35 create some new multiplayer strategies. But those strategies doesn't always make you feel happy or enjoyable.
-
Oct 8, 2020Super Mario Bros. 35 is a flawed game in some ways while offering something new and unique and a whole lot of fun in others.
-
Oct 8, 2020Despite everything Super Mario Bros. 35 offers and the fun it provides, it's the lack of security in the investment of time that players make that overshadows the experience. While it's fun on its own, a big part of its appeal is situated in how much fun it is to unlock options and sink more time into it, which will amount to nothing in March - and in that light, this game is difficult to recommend outside of a few brief sessions.
