Take The Act for what it's worth, and you will have a product that is worth your time and money.
Any fans of hand-drawn animation should download it immediately.
The Act could easily be compared to Dragon's Lair. Both are superbly animated experiences, but are quite low on the gameplay side of things. This will amuse, but don't expect any lasting enjoyment or replayability.
A beautifully made attempt at an interactive narrative, The Act never quite manages to successfully blend its story and the player's inputs.
