I very much like the work of Tonguç Bodur, especially the strange puzzle walking sim experiences. There are bits of that found in The Redress of Mira but other gameplay mechanics let it down somewhat. The story and visuals just about make up for these mechanics and the price feels good for a four-hour adventure game, but ultimately it's the weird stuff we want next time please, Tonguç.
The Redress of Mira is a surreal and strange walking simulation title. Furthermore, it has an amazing soundtrack and the first-person perspective is great. However, woeful acting, poor controls, lacklustre combat, and inexcusable use of third-person perspective undermine its potential. Disappointingly, it is a rare miss from Bodur.
The Redress of Mira is an oddly titled, terrible experience. It never plays well, and never looks good. It will, however, get you a lot of achievement points in a relatively short period of time.
