Complimented by challenging dogfighting missions, intuitive controls, and a balanced reward system, Wings is a solid, challenging game.
This is more than just a plain game, it's a damn fine plane game if you ask me.
A fun, straightforward shooter in WWI clothing, and while the 200+ missions inevitably become repetitive after a while (despite frequent changes in visual scenery), the bracing dogfight sequence and multiplayer modes are always entertaining.
A cool collection of three different game designs that, while fun in their own right, can't stand on their own because of gameplay limitations.
Its arcade style dogfights provide enjoyment, but the whole thing may begin to get repetitive after a while.
Visibility is severely limited in both views, however, and the game offers no navigational aid. [Apr 2003, p.139]
But if you're not a diehard fan of history or just don't like the sound of this game you won't like it and I wouldn't suggest it.
