Joshua and Rebecca Tickell’s Kiss the Ground is an impactful and moving film. The film is able to relay an informative and uplifting message about how we treat the Earth and how the Earth will treat us in return. Their take on regenerative farming influences the audience to consider other methods of farming. The Tickells are strong advocates for a clean and sustainable future and have lots of experience with environmental issues in the past. They do a beautiful job of outlining the problem and explaining the alternatives and the science behind them. Farmers and other advocates make appearances in the documentary to explain how regenerative farming has worked for them and how others can implement change as well. Aspects of the film such as the uplifting music and soft lighting allow the audience to feel the message of hope that is meant to influence change. Kiss the Ground is more than just an informative documentary, and I strongly recommend it for anyone looking to learn more about what we can do to help the Earth!

While platitudes about how this is really just about love — not money or industry or good old-fashioned greed — are far too simplistic, at least the movie attempts to make its issues feel personal enough to make people care. Sure, it’s cheesy idea, but that doesn’t mean that the bedrock truth isn’t real. The same logic applies to the film.
Joshua and Rebecca Tickell are back with yet another astounding film, this one being titled Kiss the Ground. I highly recommend watching this documentary, as its overall message about how we as a society can resolve our past generations' mistakes is mind-blowing. Before watching this film, I knew that our environment isn't in the best shape at all. I had no idea how to help take care of the environment. However, after watching Kiss the Ground, I am now well-informed about the steps that I have to take to fix our ecosystem. Featuring a star-studded cast, including Woody Harrelson, who not only narrates the film but also sets the overall tone and pacing, the documentary becomes an engaging and easy-to-take-in experience. Ray Archuleta graciously informs other farmers and ranchers of the steps that they can take to help the environment. What personally stood out to me was Harrelson’s narration, and in particular, how it stands out for making the information understandable and entertaining. This film just keeps on informing me of so much stuff that I had no idea about. Once again, I would recommend watching Kiss the Ground, as it will truly inspire you and give you the hope that it gave me that not all is lost!

I was very impressed with "Kiss the Ground" and its message about taking care of the plant’s soil. The film consisted of great narration, interviews, and animations that kept me engaged throughout its entire runtime. The narration, expertly done by Woody Harrelson, brings so much life to the film and its script. There are many interviews throughout the film, allowing for so many different perspectives that shed light on the climate crisis. At many points, there are animations that accompany the visuals and environment that kept me invested in the numerous details that were always coming. Josh and Rebecca Tickell did a great job in creating a film that not only interested me in the subject matter, but made me want to continue learning more about it. "Kiss the Ground" is a film that I would definitely recommend.

interesting documentary about the importance of soil and land management in caring for the earth. i was reminded of robin wall kimmerer's book, braiding sweetgrass. i'm a bit wary because most of the 'experts' had no credentials and were actors or activists, so it's hard to tell how good their information was
