A pleasure and an education.
It’s a film to remind you of the almost miraculously collaborative nature of cinema, but also the radiant personalities of individuals.
In the end, “Water and Sugar” proves the best view of Di Palma is still the gaze from his own eyes.
It’s a vital and worthwhile project to unpack Di Palma’s career...but Water and Sugar misses the mark.
