Disappointing part While so far all the episodes have been an interesting adaptation of the game plus interesting new sequences, but the seventh episode portrays a disappointing adaptation of the events of Riley and Ellie. A part that could be as interesting as the game, but not even half as valuable

Contrived, boring and pointless episode. Elle's escapade into the mall is supremely unbelievable given the world around them. For a show that is going for grit and realism, this episode really screwed that up. We're to believe that teen girls know how to work the power infrastructure for a mall with no training. And that the drain on the grid would go unnoticed. And that anything in the mall would still be functional. And that the girls would have the desire and inclination to put themselves in such an obviously dangerous situation; which predictably ends in disaster. It's all so stupid.
This series is starting to lose me.
