If you are willing to put the work into the game, then Guilty Gear Xrd -Sign- is awesome, simply awesome. It’s a game that you will be playing for years to come, not just a flavor of the week.
the graphic is perfect and the song is so nice, the art of shell shade is very good, i dont have problems
just have solutions, arcy system is synonym of qualty when u think about fight games
I had heard a lot of good things about the Guilty Gear franchise, but never really got into it due to my lack of skill in fighting games. All I can say is... damn... I have been missing out. So far, this has got to be my favorite fighting game yet (Though I understand that fans say X2 is better. Again, I have not tried it as of this review) Graphics aren't really important to me... but wow, this game is gorgeous. There's a ton of combos you can pull off and the game plays smoothly, and I have yet to experience lag in online battles, even when I play against people from other regions like Japan. Yes, the character roster is a bit small, but they're all great and each have their own unique charm.
A triumphant return for a fighting series that stayed in hiding for an entire generation. Arc System Works has laid a visual salvo with 3D models that animate like 2D art. Combined with the amazing soundtrack and technical gameplay, Xrd is a great fighter.
Guilty Gear Xrd has enough wacky characters and well-crafted tutorials to be interesting for novices, but it’s those of us seeking a challenge that will find the most to love here.
One of the best looking fighting games ever and the most successful attempt yet to make an interactive anime, even if it is a little lacking in content and new ideas.
Look wise as mentioned before, It isa major upgrade from traditional 2D sprites to great toon shaded characters that retain and improve the look and animations from predecessors. Very fun combat and deep strategy (for hardcore fighters). Only thing I can complain about to nitpick , is some of the English voices, you either get good voices, for some characters or some that aren't as good (personal taste), would rather switch to Japanese language. As far as an easy to get into, there are plenty of training options to help a casual gamer. This is definitely a must have for any PS4 owners library.Definitely one of my top favorite games this year and hopefully we get DLC updates for more characters I am looking forward to seeing Jam and Baiken.
Guilty Gear franchise is something that probably older players will remember. To the new players,. If it gives you BlazBlue vibe, then you have to know that it's from the same creators. But Guilty Gear is much older and draws it's roots from the first PSX days. Even though BlazBlue that came now was there to kinda vanquish the thirst of players that were longing for a sequel, the feeling was not really the same. But now, the game makes a comeback, and what a comeback it is. I'm not really a graphic **** to be honest. If it looks nice then it's a bonus but gameplay and atmosphere is what really takes a cake for me.. but I must say that holy hell the game looks absolutely amazing. The best looking fighter out there now, period. If you like anime style or not, doesn't change the fact that makers did a hell of a job. An Unreal 3 powered engine with cel-shaded face paint makes it look like a real high-quality anime show. Kinda similar to CyberConnect2's level, but the models here are even more fluid and crisp. The fighting is a mix of BlazBlue and Street Fighter 4. Crazy moves are there and you still need tehnique to pull it off. There is a nice and long tutorial but still you'll have to get ready to memorize all the combo strings. New engine means that they had to start from scratch when making characters, so some fan favorites are gonna be missing, but they will probably be in the extended version. Personally I had some problem playing online as lag was present on few occasions, overall netcode is so and so for now. I'm sure they will sort that out later or maybe it was just me. Sory mode is kinda all over the place, so to grasp it all you really have to know some stuff from previous games. But yeah, if you are into fighters, then try this one. Originally wanted to give a normal score but seeing how people are putting negative for no goddamn reason I'll put the max one. Peace! :3

Guilty Gear Xrd - Fresh Reboot
+ Graphics are fresh and great style
+ Rock music just like the classic
+ controls great
+ Online has sit down arcade like simulation
+ Great training and tutorial options
- Story mode not very deep, cut scenes only
- Not that many fighters yet
- DLC is pricy
- New installments are around the corner
- Lack of variety wears after extended play
Overall - it's a fresh new start to the series, gameplay is much like you'd expect from a next gen guilty gear fighter. DLC and future installment releases plague the future, They should switch to a release style like Street fighter V, making the game like a service.
