Majestic draws you in and doesn’t let go. Captivating, compelling, and even thrilling at times, it draws you into a strange and mysterious world where your individual actions have a definite impact.
They still have a few problems to iron out, but the fascinating adventure is well worth giving it a try.
If you like suspense...if you are prone to let your imagination run wild...if you have the patience of Job...then you will find your Majestic experience to be fulfilling and exciting!
A very passive experience, and as the novelty fades, so will your interest...If nothing else, it has laid the groundwork for other games to borrow and improve upon its excellent premise.
Unfortunately, this ambitious new step for gaming turns out to be dead on arrival. [Feb 2002, p.60]
Majestic doesn't really need you. It's all about watching and waiting while other characters do stuff.
