An unconventional combination of two worlds and genres, which is funny, reasonably difficult and especially offers a great playability. For the Nintendo Switch owners, it is a must-have, everyone will enjoy this game. [Issue#278]
Mario + Rabbids is tremendously fun, and a triumph for Ubisoft. Its easy accessibility and familiar characters make it perfect for younger players ready to move onto more challenging gaming experiences, but its consistent difficulty curve means it keeps the attention of more seasoned players. With tonnes of content to warrant returning long after the story is done, chalk this up as another great entry to the Switch's burgeoning software library.

This game is simply amazing, great gameplay, I spent a lot of hours enjoying it.

I bought this on a whim not really knowing what to expect it just looked funny to me and the trailers made me laugh so I figured what the hell. From the very start I was pretty much hooked the humor suits me and the gameplay is great, don't expect this game to be easy though some levels are tough but not unfairly so. Its incredibly rare a game makes me want to take the time to unlock everything but this game does exactly that my only criticism is that the Gold Edition of the game does not come with the Donkey Kong expansion on the cart but the base game is so good even this isn't enough to deduct points for. Incredible game for anyone that enjoys strategy type games with a light hearted theme. Thoroughly recommended must own game.

Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle exudes off-beat optimism that never dissolves. It's a consistent delight, no matter how challenging the road becomes.
We can’t say that Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle has no other issues besides graphics: some people won’t like weird scenery of the Mushroom Kingdom, others will be annoyed by somewhat blunt humor. But there’s no doubt about the bottom line: Switch owners got a good brand-new tactic game. [Issue#223, p.68]
Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle is a good addition to the current Switch lineup. I’m not sure if I would say that in a year from now once more exclusives are available, but for anyone starving to play a new game with Mario, Ubisoft has you covered! You could also play it if you miss the Rabbids, if you wanted. I did enjoy my time with this, but found the pace of battles to be awkward without any way to customize the settings. I’m no developer, but if they could patch something in, this would be a lot more enjoyable and probably even fun! Don’t expect this to replace the games it rips off, but there is a good time to be had in this weird mashup.
Mario and Rabidds come together in a videogame with high doses of humor, entertainment and style. Ubisoft and Nintendo have joined forces to create a great exclusive for Nintendo Switch.
This rollercoaster ride of a turn-based strategy game starts out almost impossibly strong, but by the end I mostly wished it'd been over three hours earlier.
Este juego es de lo MEJÓR que tiene la switch, es muy divertido, la musica es muy buena, los jefes igual, sus mundos, lo unico malo que puedo encontrarle al juego es que tiene algunos bugs pequeños, fuera de eso me parece un juego perfecto

A reasonably fun arcade strategy game which is ruined by terrible difficulty balancing.
I completed almost all the battles in the first two chapters with perfect. This is despite the poor design decision of not telling you how many turns you have for perfect. Still, this part of the game is fun and I also enjoyed completing the challenges before moving on to the third chapter.
This is where the difficulty balancing issues destroyed my enjoyment of the game. The difficulty ramps up greatly, which is bad enough. Worse, there is little strategy and a lot of luck in the battles. Enemy units suddenly appear and get a turn before you can react to them. This is incredibly poor game design. I would rate the second half of the game as 0 out of 10 but overall give the game a 5.

The sneaky option to get additional HP at the beginning of a battle feels like cheap cheating, and makes any strategic challenge of the game pointless. If you want to pander to people with low gaming skills, introduce a proper "easy mode" option at the beginning of the game, instead of tempting people to cheat each and every time they find a bit of difficulty.
