  1. The controls are also tough to manage or manipulate.
  2. A decent budget action game that will satisfy many gamers, yet is somewhat lacking in detail and environmental interaction.
  3. 50
If gamers aren't put off by the distinctly lack-lustre character visuals, they will be by the dire English voice-overs, stilted and forced from a poorly translated German script.
  4. The primary problem with the game is that your additional form and your primary weapon, the Sword of Light, draw power from your spiritual energy. This energy is fast to drain and very slow to regenerate, giving you just a few swings of your sword before you are left without the ability to attack.
  5. Computer Gaming World
Archangel's plot is almost nonexistent... The light at the end of the tunnel needs a new bulb. [Apr 2003, p.112]
  6. Computer Games Magazine
At its core, Archangel is all self-absorbed scenario development, and endless circle-strafe packed to its pimpy neck witih occult imagery and amateurish design. [Mar 2003, p.84]
