With excellent gameplay and atmospheric effects, tied together in a bundle of deeply intricate lore, fans of the series should not be disappointed.

If you have run out of things to do in the Commonwealth, or simply want to experience something with more variety and choice for the player, then Far Harbor will surely satisfy.

Far Harbor delivers, and if Bethesda continues to make DLC for Fallout 4 this is exactly what we want to see from them. A game with choices and emotion, built in a world that's chock-full of atmosphere and challenges, while still spinning a web of dark humor and happiness and telling a story of people struggling to survive in a world where survival is at best optional and at worst impossible.

Far Harbor offers an abundant amount of content and a fascinating and expansive new area to explore. This is the largest and best expansion for Fallout 4 this far.

Looking for that perfect escape from the daily grind of supermutants, synths, railroad activists, raiders, rust devils, and Brotherhood of Steel do-gooder types who parade around the post-apocalyptic Boston wasteland like they frigging own the place? Then welcome to Far Harbor, a lovely, picturesque, stupendously highly radioactive island off the coast of Maine.

Far Harbor is the best DLC ever released for Fallout 4. With its blend of traditional sci-fi and horror, this expansion rewrites the world of Fallout, with more than 12 hours of new content, a living and captivating new area to explore, and some intriguing characters to interact with.

For its new locations and weapons, the turbulent waters of Maine are a satisfying compliment to Fallout 4. But where Far Harbor succeeds in delivering more of the same great gameplay and oddball characters that made the main campaign such a joy, it can't muster an interesting story.

Favorite Thing: There's a lot to enjoy here. I most liked the story of the island's inhabitants.
Least Favorite Thing: Would have liked it to be a lot more difficult. It was a build of a cake-walk due to having already finished the game.

This DLC suffers from bloated map locations with the only purpose of housing a pile of hostiles; now I don't mind a good old shoot out but it gets ridiculous.

When it come to game play the base game took a left turn, any DLC that follows suit will have the same elements and same flaws, this does just that.

Map design is is horrendous, hilly and platform like is limiting, the base game does this in areas as well, it is retarded, I have been forced to go lateral for one 5th the map trying to move forword, thank god for jetpack mods with no ap limitation. (the main quest will force some platform jumping in first person and floaty as hell) . I learned new colourful words such as **** and "you **** **** good luck soldier.

Download If you like the base game, its more to explore.
