    From a visual standpoint, Final Fantasy VI Pixel Remaster is simply magnificent. The game is one of the best pixel remastered versions, considering the Square Enix effort put up comparatively.

    Final Fantasy VI is easily the “crown jewel” of the pixel remaster releases given how much effort Square Enix put into it comparatively, and is certainly now the definitive version of the game to play. I honestly wish it hadn’t taken me as long as I had to play FFVI because I think it stands as one of my all-time favorite Final Fantasy games! I wholeheartedly recommend playing it if you haven’t yet, as fellow newcomers to the title can’t go wrong with giving this version a try. Final Fantasy VI is a true classic with all the positive connotations of the word.

    Final Fantasy VI Pixel Remaster is an admirable update to one of the greatest games of all time. The story remains as captivating now as it did when it was released almost thirty years ago, and even with the limited power of the hardware, the artwork and music helped bring everything to life.

    Final Fantasy VI Pixel Remaster is an inconsistent work. Graphically, it has some nice effects, but also some ugly elements, the most obvious one is the typography. It is a remake that removes important things from the original game and adopts unnecessary new features. It's not the best version of the game, but it's not the worst either.

    I loved the game since i played it in the SNES, and yes, the game looks great, but that is all, it doesn't feel good, y has just partialI loved the game since i played it in the SNES, and yes, the game looks great, but that is all, it doesn't feel good, y has just partial controller support (as far as i played, when you enter a character name, you have to use a keyboard), it crashes just because, it is just not a good port/remaster of a great game.

    Note: i've finished the game on everything (SNES, GBA, iOS, Android, PSOne) and this might be the most frustrating experience, even worst than the loading times on the PSOne, because it didn't meddle with the gameplay and overall experience, it just made you wait for it    … Expand

    I gave the maximum rating for two reasons, it is FFVI, the best RPG ever made, I want new people to play it, AND because of the INMACULATEI gave the maximum rating for two reasons, it is FFVI, the best RPG ever made, I want new people to play it, AND because of the INMACULATE SOUNDTRACK, i´ve heard all the versions of this ost possible, and this is the only one that rivals the 16bit original, just the pleasure of playing this masterpiece with that improved soundtrack warrants a maximum score, VISUALLY still like better the original, this is a weird mix, but is not bad at all, not a deal breaker.… Expand
