  1. The core gameplay is very refined and every aspect of the presentation is top-notch. If the game was a bit longer, there really wouldn’t be anything to complain about.
  2. The most important question to ask of any game is, was it fun? And GUN answers with a resounding yes.
  3. At least if you do take in everything the game has to offer on the first sitting, you’ll easily feel like you’ve had a fulfilling experience, but unlike a GTA game, it’s pretty unlikely that you’ll come back for more once you’ve finished.

You've got a rich and compelling narrative, a twitch-happy gun mechanic, and a big landscape in which to explore. On the other hand, the controls are loose and a little sloppy, the targeting perimeter around each character is way too big and forgiving, so it's easy to be a bad shooter, and the vast landscape doesn't have much in it.
  5. The experience just doesn't last long enough to be savored. Gun's main story missions are exciting, but the main plot is over so quickly that the whole thing just ends up feeling rushed, and the various side missions aren't compelling enough to hold your interest after the end credits roll.
  6. 70
Not only giving us a relatively fresh and underutilized theme, but also by mixing up gameplay and including a stats and inventory system that give you freedom (well, some freedom) on how to build your character.

Gun isn't an entirely unpleasant game, just a mediocre one. [Feb 2006, p.56]

It is spectacularly motivating and certainly very addicting. Gun is one of the best quality games I have played in my entire lifetime. The It is spectacularly motivating and certainly very addicting. Gun is one of the best quality games I have played in my entire lifetime. The storyline is very intriuging, excting to follow, but mostly extremely intense. My one complaint is of the shortness of the main campaign. I think the designers of Gun, should put a second game out with more explosive missions and fascinating free-roam maps. Expand

It is like Grand Theft Auto but in the wild west. The story line is short but the side missions make the game better.

Very nice western-action game. Good graphics for a six years old game. Few bugs, but game play is brilliant. Maybe too easy in easier difficulties ...
