The devs for this game are wonderful. They hold regular discussions on reddit where they post updates and take questions. They are updating content weekly and always updating and tweaking the games balance. Twice I've contacted the devs and they are always responsive. I had a time-gate somehow close as soon as opened it. I sent a message through the in game browser, and they got back to me the next morning and re-opened it, no questions asked. In hindsight, I may have accidentally held the button to close it instead of start the adventure. I'm not sure, but they didn't ask they just resolved it.

The game itself is great, but in order to idle, the game has to be running like it does on the PC. The problem with that is, the PS4 can't multi task so it takes forefront. You gain gold offline, but it's negligible. The game is designed for the PC and to be running in the background, in which you can level up and idle whenever you want. So I can't say it's a true idle game for the console, but it is free.

Moderately enjoyable experience but it is insanely addictive. After spending 251 hours in the game I do not recommend picking this up.

The game is just a minor improvement over "crusaders of the lost idols" except it's too new and unripe to be as fun to play as the other one.

Is has absolutely nothing to do with d&d. They deserve nobody ever playing it just for how , once again, someone abused d&d name to lure people in, and just make yet another game that has nothing to do with d&d spirit.

Idle influence is too strong and it ruins everything, What's the point of having dozens of different characters if everything you will end up with is a single character doing damage while the other ones just need to be set-up in a way to make your one and only damage dealer reach highest possible dps?

Why put d&d stats and modifiers if they don't do absolutely anything? It's a farce.
Of course, even if they did, it would be useless. you only ever use one single character at the time, you don't even feel like they are actually characters.

The game is very simple, an ordinary clicker game that I do not like much, but the gameplay seems to be good, there is not much to do.

Idle games are barely games as they are designed to minimize player input. This one is a good example of minimal player input. You can just leave the game running for minutes on end without doing a single thing. If you like that sort of thing, this game is for you.

From talking to the player base, most of those that responded are the type of people that "like to see numbers get bigger" and find rearranging a single formation "strategically" satisfying. Some commented on how they liked that it uses D&D characters, which it does to the extent that it uses generic 2d sprites and then attaches D&D character names to it. There is no lore or character development.

I have played an idle game or two before, and got bored within a couple of days, this time I was bored within a couple minutes. It brings nothing new to the "genre", and is clearly trying to capitalize on the D&D branding. Well, it does do one thing better than any other idle game I have seen, and that is monetization. There are pages and pages and pages of store content. All ready for you to swipe your card and skip over boring idle gameplay...to get to more boring idle gameplay.

Honestly the game has no appeal for me, as I like to have a certain minimal degree of player interaction, and am put off by any game so obviously using well known branding to attract people to a game so heavily monetized. The graphics are bad, "think 2005 flash game", from what I saw, the story is practically non-existent, and there is practically no gameplay. However, I wont give this a 0 because it did have active players, who seemed to enjoy the game, for those reasons, or at least despite them.
