The biggest let down comes in the online play and horrid connections.

The combat is beautiful and flashy enough to make any fighting game or JRPG fan feel satisfied and while the graphics may seem a bit stiff, none of that matters during the fast-paced matches where you'll probably pay more attention to the ratio between your HP bar and your enemy's. Jump force allows players to finally answer those age-old questions, such as Who would win in a fight between Goku and Naruto Uzumaki?, which have been the subject of debates in forum discussions, memes or video commentaries, and that alone should be enough of a reason to make fans of the genre interested in the game.

Jump Force is a worthy celebration of the legacy of Shonen Jump manga, but it honors its source material a little too well with how filler-heavy the middle of its story arc is.

40 playable characters and a huge fan service isn't enough for a fighting game. The game is technically disappointing with confusing camera management and a screen that often overdoses with visual effects.

An epic clash between the some of manga’s most famous characters shouldn’t be this dull, frankly.

Despite having 50 years of legacy to work from, this manga mash-up feels like a rush job. The combat offers basic fun, but as a complete package Jump Force proves to be a flop.

While a fighting game featuring a wide variety of Weekly Shonen Jump characters seems like a no-brainer, the shoddy execution and surprisingly limited roster hinder JUMP FORCE from being the all-star it wants to be.

I am one of the few people who enjoy this game. Fighting game inputs confuse me and I like games that I can have simple fun with. I watch a good amount of anime and love the characters they included Rurouni Kenshin, Yusuke Uremeshi and Goku? I'm sold. This is a fun not super competitive fighting game that gets some undeserved hate. If you are not a huge fighting game fan and like these characters give it a go, but make sure you get it on sale. It wasn't bad, it wasn't great, but it is more sad that they have taken it down forever. So nobody will really know in the future. Hopefully they do a sequel, and won't have to argue over other licensing like Dai from Dragon Quest. It would be best to leave those type of things as DLC only and not apart of the main game. Expand

The roster is quite big, but there's way too many micro-transactions. The story is also very boring and uninteresting. Not to mention the cutscenes and dialogue. I don't recommend this game, not even on sale. Expand

I am a huge fan of Jump Ultimate Stars, I loved that game on DS. So, I had big expectations for this. And I am really disappointed. The game doesn't look so good and the combat is bland and generic. I miss the "comic creator" of JUS and its pure joyful fun.

Why change something that worked so well?

Most of all, the worst thing about this game on PC is that the keyboard controls are absolutely horrible. Are you kidding me Bandai?

Character creation is very limited, the game doesn't really have many cosmetics nor many options to customize your character, game only have 5 maps, seriously what even is this? First Street Fighter game? I can't recommend this game to anyone honestly, unless you are a hardcore weaboo or a collector then you might have some enjoyment, which is highly unlikely cosidering the fact there are a lot of better choices for either fighting games and anime based games, unless you want to try this out to see how bad everything looks, then go for but do yourself a favor and wait for a sale or don't buy it and take a look at it on youtube.
