If you’ve not played Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales before, the PC version is an easy recommendation on Steam Deck. Miles Morales is a tighter and more focused take on the formula than the original game with better combat and a brilliant use of licensed music. The story is perfect to experience during the holiday season as well. It has been about two years since its PlayStation debut, and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales has aged brilliantly. It is yet another ‘perfect on Steam Deck’ experience from Sony.

It may not last that long, but it also never comes close to wearing out its welcome. Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is an excellent sequel to an equally excellent game, and now that it’s out on PC, it’s absolutely worth your time (even if that time is over far too soon).

This Marvel's Spider-Man Miles Morales PC is hands down the best version of the game yet. It's hard to do better in terms of graphic quality and that's without counting the addition of ray tracing which sublimates the whole thing to make it unbeatable. So much so that the PS5 version almost pales in comparison. With the addition of Nvidia DLSS into the equation, the title even has the luxury of being fairly fluid on most configurations that have an Nvidia RTX graphics card.

PC has finally become a home of all Spider-Man adventures that we experienced few years ago on PlayStation consoles. Miles Morales game now shines even more on PC, making it the best place to experience this excellent superhero title.

Miles Morales can keep up with Peter and sometimes surpasses him. However, you have little time to savor this action fest.

Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales is an immersive, spectacular sequel with some important gameplay improvements. A must-buy for those who enjoyed the first episode of the series, although in terms of content the game is pretty poor if compared to Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered. The PC conversion is again solid but controversial in some respects, there are tons of options but a couple of important ones are missing for scalability purposes and you'll need a really high-end rig to get the best possible visual fidelity.

The most up-to-date proof that Insomniac's Spider-Man franchise is holding up well. I wish it has a better pricing policy though. When it's on sale you can easily easily add +1 to the final score.

Another quality PlayStation port on PC.

Like the previous game, Spider-Man Miles Morales here is another excellent PC port from the Play Station franchise.

When it comes to Performance, on my Ryzen 5 3600 and RTX 3060 Ti system, the game performs quite similarly to Spider-Man Remastered, perhaps even a tiny bit better overall.
Personally, I played most of the game at 1440p DLDSR, mostly Ultra Settings, including Ray Tracing, and while there some drops below 60 and well into the low 50s, when swinging around, quite often the game can stay at or above 60 FPS, while looking pretty nice.

It has very decent Keyboard and Mouse customization settings, but I played this one with my DualSense controller, with no major issues, feels pretty good.

Story and content wise, the game is shorter than its predecessor, but it felt quite complete to me, the characters are very likable, the neighborhood has this warmer feeling to it, and Miles being a younger protagonists, also goes though the expected character development from someone his age.

Just like the previous game, it is a visual spectacle in many of the major set pieces and boss fights, and much like in the previous game, I spent quite a bit of time making use of the nice Photo Mode, indeed : )

My main gripe with the game is the lesser amount of unlockable skills compared to the previous game, even though Miles does not feel weaker in any way compared to Peter, there are clear nuances and differences in their play styles, for sure, but I wanted a few more unlockable skills along the way, or gadgets, that’s all.

I enjoyed this game just as much as Spider-Man Remastered, and I only wish the story continued even further after the end, because I really had fun with it but, I guess that will be for Spider-Man 2, which hopefully will end up making its way to PC at the proper time.

It starts well, quite smooth, but then after around 10 minutes it starts to stutter and it becomes more and more laggy. Then you go toIt starts well, quite smooth, but then after around 10 minutes it starts to stutter and it becomes more and more laggy. Then you go to settings and try to lower textures quality, come back to game and ok. Then after other two minutes it lags again, so you go to settings again and lower shadow to medium or whatever, come back to game and it seems ok but after a couple of minutes it stutters again. So you go again to settings and start fighting with ray-tracing settings trying to pushing them as minimum as possible but again nothing solves the issues. Very bad performance with myRtx 2080 super. Weird, because Spider Man Remastered was very smooth when I bought it three months ago, all settings maxed out Expand
