    It’s not fast enough for a Sonic game and imprecise controls can lead to frustration but for the most part Lost World emanates the raw, simple platforming fun rarely seen on PCs. [01/2016, p.70]

    If you judge it as a sonic game it’s disappointing but if you judge it for a good platformer it’s not a bad game by any means but there’s better and worse sonic games out there. That said it rarely delivers the speed you crave and as a sonic fan I was disappointed about this.

    There are good ideas in Sonic Lost World, and even fleeting moments of brilliance – the wide-open assault course of Desert Ruins Zone 1 stands out as a particular highlight. But for every bit that works brilliantly and provides the thrilling action we want from Sonic, there’s a weak boss encounter or an awkward stop-start stage that dents your enthusiasm.

    Sloppy controls make for an infuriating platformer. If you want a modern Sonic game, get Generations instead.

    The PC port of Lost World trims the fat from the Wii U version. The DLC may not be here, but at least you don't need to farm for as many Animals as in the previous version. The controls don't feel as heavy or slippery as Unleashed or Generations, and there was an honest attempt made here to make the gameplay and level design be something other than "hold boost button to win". I'd love to see elements from this game like the parkour system return and get polished more for future games, and this game reminded me how much fun Spindashing in 3D was.
    There's a couple dumb gimmicky levels here and there, and most of it feels like Sonic in Super Mario Galaxy, but it's still at least fun and fun is what I look for.
    As far as games go, this one's alright. If they ever attempt this sort of gameplay style again, just remove the gimmicky levels (like the snowball part) and make it NOT look like Mario Galaxy.    … Expand

    Sonic Lost World is game for students . In this game amazing gameplay as in SMG - Super Mario Galaxy and this game like on Super Mario Galaxy,Sonic Lost World is game for students .
