Warhammer: Chaosbane is an absolute treat for fans of the Warhammer universe. If you like dungeon crawlers or Warhammer in general, you should definitely pick this up – especially if you don't have a phone. Be sure to check out the full review above for an exciting look at Warhammer: Chaosbane, which should absolutely be on your radar when it comes to Game of the Year considerations later in 2019.

Progression is a bit slower than similar games on the market but that is not necessarily a bad thing.

It doesn’t really introduce anything new to the genre, yet Warhammer: Chaosbane is a nice hack & slash ARPG with a deep and engaging endgame.

The mission design and story can grate at times, but this is a devilishly fun homage to Diablo 3 and Warhammer Fantasy you’ll want to get your friends in on.

A great foundation that is mechanically sound and will delight in the early hours. Stick around too long, however, and Chaosbane reveals a dearth of classes, enemies and environments. Also a weak endgame.

A generic ARPG that offers little fun and greatly under uses the Warhammer license.

In Warhammer: Chaosbane, there is only dull combat. Use two or three favorite abilities to kill hordes of same-looking enemies, marvel at bad animations and identical corridors, and try not to lose your mind. Even cooperative mode, which usually makes everything better, is a boring chore.

Y el entorno Warhammer está muy conseguido por la buena música, las voces de diálogo, los personajes, los enemigos, los lugares icónicos... Un "must have" para cualquier aficionado de Warhammer. It's very repetitive, both in environments and mobs. And the gear, which is crucial to a game like this, is really quite meh. Some of the skills are cool, but most are quite underwhelming. I've played it for probably 4 hours. But unlike Grim Dawn, Diablo, or Path of Exile there's just not much that makes me want to log in and play more. Expand

Skip Choasbane and play 40K Inquisiton Martyr, a much better Bad Arse game.
Not only is the gameplay dull after the first initial enjoyment of using skills for the first time , but the whole game feels unbalanced and unready.
My biggest issues is the voices, there was so many annoying player callouts , bad acting and bugs in the voice audio, it was a joke. In the first 5 hours of exploring this game I heard my characters voice change from female to male 4 times on 2 different characters, (What the !?!?! is that). The battle noises and callouts of the Dwarf and Elf are so annoying I had to turn voices volume down, but even that doesn't kill all the irritating laughs and stuff. The sound is a constant assault on your senses and it hard to like much with this constant irritation. It doesn't help that the female character look like the single mum with 5 kids smoking a ciggy outside your local pub of a tuesday, yeh there's no femme fatales or sexy badass warriors in this game, just annoying uggos.
The leveling is terrible , it's just so limiting. First your limited by skills being locked , then by not having anywhere near enough points, then by boredom. You don't sell your gear, you just give it away, removing (trading) one of my favorite part of most ARPGS i've played. Its a buggy undercooked bore fest . Get Inquisition Martyr, a good game.
One good thing is the graphics and performance, game world looks great an is 60 frames, but the reuse the same 3 environment 3 or 4 times each in the campaign, making that less of a win.

    How to waste a franchise...
let me say, I love GW Warhammer, I've played the boardgames, wargames, card games, pc games, a lot, I love the universe and I was so happy to have an A-RPG about Warhammer...then...I played Chaos Bane.... so tedious, the same lvls over and over again, irrelevant quests, totally useless items and equipments (no skills, no special features, only a direct improvement on damage, speed, or critical chance..) the same mobs repeated until you are so bored you are willing to quit.
Boss fights are unbalanced and full of flaws...
The only thing that can keep the game alive for some hours is the Local Coop and the Skill tree, this one is at least something that justifies the leveling of the characters.
what a waste of a chance
