This game mixes Gundam and fighting games in just the right amount, and I look forward to the tearing of metal limbs that will occur in my house for some time to come.
There’s just a certain feeling that a Gundam game has that’s part wistful romanticism and part kick ass action, and what you get with Battle Assault 3 Featuring Gundam SEED manages to convey both equally.
Battle Assault 3 is almost, not quite, a clunker, existing in the space between serviceable and irritating.
It's safe to say that only the most diehard of Gundam fans could possibly find anything at all to like about this game.
The flimsy-as-aluminum presentation certainly doesn't help Battle Assault 3 earn any new fans.
Movement is stiff, and you'll often be next to your enemy but miss him completely. It's like whiffing in T-ball. [Jan 2005, p.122]
It's an insult to anyone's intelligence and especially to fans of the series who at least deserve a game that doesn't assault them with its own faults.
