The best racing game of the year..."Gran Turismo 2" and "3" are just as good, but they are definitely not better than Splashdown.
As long as you don’t mind a slightly more technical feel and a hefty challenge, you’ll find the best thing to happen with jetskis since the N64’s Wave Race.
Highly addictive...Even after having played in the area of 20 hours of this game, I still find myself distracted by just how good it looks.
Easy to handle control, a decent trick system, and the all important water physics are down pat.
The controls are easy to learn, races are challenging without being unbeatably difficult, and the terrain is rich and varied.
A good racing game that--with a few tweaks-- could have easily been one of the greatest.
A great choice for those seeking a fun, arcade-style racer, but it also has enough depth and variety to keep players interested beyond the first few hours of play.
