    The Exiled Prince proves to be as "beefy" as BioWare promised, and that means that any fan of the franchise should seriously consider taking on Sebastian Vael's fascinating quest. You'll hardly regret it.

    IF you like DA 2 than you will definitely like this extra character and bonus missions. The voice acting for Sebastian is good and he is moreIF you like DA 2 than you will definitely like this extra character and bonus missions. The voice acting for Sebastian is good and he is more interesting than some of the other companions. The bonus missions were fun, but there was nothing special about them. I had this expansion for my first play through and I found it was well integrated. The only downside for me was the price of $6.99. It just didn't seem like enough content for that price. You also get some easy trophies out of it.… Expand

It is a nice addition to the original story and Prince Sebastian´s tale of vengeance is interesting. Then again, this should have been originally added to the story, not sold separetely as a DLC. This is an example of what worries me about the DLC industry. Sometimes, I feel like developers are losing their common sense. One thing is selling a 'complementary' content. Another thing, completely different, is charging us for something that we should not need to buy in the first place. In the case of the 'Exiled Prince', it sounds kind of cheap to charge us for something that could have been part of the original release.… Expand

    This DLC adds possibly the most disliked companion in the Dragon Age Series. Sebastian provides a new perspective for the game, being the onlyThis DLC adds possibly the most disliked companion in the Dragon Age Series. Sebastian provides a new perspective for the game, being the only character who is apart of the game's Chantry, which has a pivotal role in the game's narrative and overarching conflict. His character also provides some additional depth to some aspects of the game's third act. However, Sebastian's addition feels poorly executed as he is largely irrelevant to many of the subplots and even main story missions, as he fails to provide additional dialogue compared to other characters, and furthermore, his romance is also the least interesting and fulfilling, if you can even call it a romance. The worst part of this DLC is how late you receive this character, which isn't until act 2, long after you've recruited all the base game characters, and as he is the second archer for your team, his combat viability is largely nullified.… Expand

    That said, his quest line is nicely fleshed out, and adds a lot to the DA2 campaign. Still, as with any day one DLC, it feels like it should have been part of the main game. Due to this, only 6/10. If judged for what it is, it's a 7/10.    … Expand
