Nov 7, 201811-11 Memories Retold is something precious; it’s a rare foil against the lies about war that filth like Call of Duty and Battlefield get away with far too easily.
-
Nov 7, 2018Though it might lack typical challenge, 11-11: Memories Retold is a journey that is absolutely worth taking. An affecting and tragic look at war from the perspectives of two soldiers who seem least keen to wage it, this is pretty much essential for anybody with a heart.
-
Nov 19, 2018It wants its audience to switch lenses, zoom in and accept that war involves relatable individuals on all sides. No matter the uniform they’re wearing, or where they’re from, they bear the burden of choice and consequences at a personal level, carried out in seconds and minutes, just like us.
-
Nov 7, 2018It's not the most engrossing narrative I've ever experienced, but it's certainly incredibly memorable. I enjoyed all of my time with 11-11: Memories Retold and can heartily recommend it to the narrative adventure fans, or anyone who just wants to see a game rendered in an incredibly unique art style. I can't wait to see what kind of game Aardman makes next.

Nov 9, 201811-11 Memories Retold focuses on two different fates and is more intimist than Valiant Hearts: the Great War. It takes some distance with historic reality to tell a well written and luminous tale. Maybe too luminous, though.
-
Nov 14, 2018As Valiant Hearts or This War of Mine, this game wants to show the most painful side of the war. Harry and Kurt are two characters with good stories and drawn like a Monet canvas. But some clumsy puzzles and predictable situations do not let them reach higher.
-
Mar 5, 2019Even though visually pretty, I found the game lacking serious depth when it came to the story, and consider that there were not enough points in the game for me to emotionally connect to either of the characters. When you take into consideration that plot twist is very predictable and that the game can be finished in less than one day, this game does offer a different perspective on the WWI from the other games currently on the market, but it won’t leave a lasting impression on you, it will become just a fleeting memory.

Feb 1, 2021Story's nice. The gameplay is mostly intuitive and the collectibles add value to the story as well.
Overall a nice indie title -
