    If there was anything that I might have had a problem with it is blueprints are hard to come across. I love the random looting and the challenge it brings. The art is well done. All around I have to say, Dark Devotion was a fun experience.

    Dark Devotion has parts that are inspired by great titles of the last few years. It's part Dark Souls, part Dead Cells but it does have a few things that will separate it from the titles that inspire it. Yes, it is not as good as either of those titles but we are talking about two of the best titles in their respected genres. It is, however, rewarding, well made and well worth your time and effort.

    Dark Devotion is an action-RPG 2D title that will test your patience and reflexes with the controller. Great pixel-art graphics, solid plot and original boss fights are the basics of this game only for brave players. Hibernian Workshop makes their debut with an aggressive and ambitious title.

    Dark Devotion is a 2D action game that focuses on combat and exploration. With a variety of weapons and items, foes, and branching pathways, you'll have plenty to fight with and experience. Some enemies, especially certain bosses, are frustrating and may have you considering throwing your controller. Even so, succeeding feels rewarding.

    It can be downright crushing, and more than a few people will probably be turned off by it. For those who stick with it though, or go into the experience fully prepared for a challenging experience, there are elements seeing and getting lost in.

    Dark Devotion is one of the most brutally challenging 2D action RPGs and the controls definitely don't complement its tough gameplay.

    Not sure how, from the excellent soulsbourne series, some devs have arrived at the conclusion that there's an audience for crappy games,Not sure how, from the excellent soulsbourne series, some devs have arrived at the conclusion that there's an audience for crappy games, provided there's some artificial difficulty. No chance anything good can come out of this attitude, yet i still tried this one.. The game has some ideas, and there's a lot of work put into it, but invariably it ends by selling crappiness as challenge, like most 'souls-like'. Poor graphics, no visibility, poor leveldesign etc. Hey.. i can play sotn with sunglasses and one hand for free, no need to buy crap. Avoid, there must be some other games u haven't tried out… Expand
