Darksiders III - Fury's Apocalypse Trailer
Nov 26, 2018Once again, the Horsemen offer us a masterpiece. Darksiders III, even with all the fear and skepticism behind the game, has managed to become a superb hack ‘n’ slash. The personal journey of Fury against the Seven Deadly Sins is simply amazing, and everything is set towards the future for Strife to come and end this awesome epic.
Nov 30, 2018Not quite the triumphant return long-time fans had hoped for but nevertheless, Darksiders III is an enjoyable and worthy entry in the series. The biggest issue here is that newcomers will likely find Fury and her world a little too unwelcoming. To those of us who have already shared the trials of War and the journey of Death, delivering Fury’s wrath is a satisfying if somewhat guilty pleasure.
Nov 26, 2018Beneath the mountain of bugs, shoddy design and inconsistent performance, there’s a genuinely good adventure waiting to be experienced in Darksiders III. Unfortunately, its numerous problems are more than just annoying in nature. They’re quite simply…apocalyptic.
Nov 26, 2018The game is a nightmare to play through, with an unlikable protagonist, a chugging frame rate, and a mountain of bugs. It’s completely and utterly broken, but even when it works (which is almost never), it amounts to nothing more than a below average hack-and-slash with some decent puzzles.

The developers managed to make a good game, they combined parts 1 and 2 and it turned out a perfect balance. In this game, it is not necessary to kill all enemies as in 1 and 2. There are no very large corridors that you need to walk for hours and look for keys for 10 doors to go to the boss. But in the game there are places where Vulgrim is very far from the boss and it is very distressing. The plot of the game as always is great. BUT it is very difficult to understand whether the actions of the game go before the first part or after the first part, although at the end they say that everything happens after the first part, but there are discrepancies at the beginning.
The character has learned to run and this is very cool, in other parts of this is not enough. This game is definitely very good.… Expand
Feb 8, 2019darksiders 3 wow after 6 years they finally released another game will this game be good like the first one or is it meh like the second onedarksiders 3 wow after 6 years they finally released another game will this game be good like the first one or is it meh like the second one let me explain everything in my review
this game is a hard core dark souls like hack and slash game that tells the story about the four horsemen of the apocalypse this game takes place in the middle of the first one when war was taken prisoner by the charred council and it happens in the middle of the second one where death goes on a quest to prove his brothers innocence now ill get straight to the pros and cons
-game is awesome combat is satisfying and you finally start with a horseman who is not depowered or wounded
-the fact that there is no map just a compass and that's it just explore makes the game all the more thrilling
-finally you don't need to get other peoples weapons and tools and the only new weapons you get is basically this elemental ones called hollows there is fire ice electricity and force and each one has its own weapon with combos
-fury is easily the best horsemen because of her commentary over things sometimes even breaking the forth wall just makes you laugh and get connected to the character
- the environment is just beautiful and the enemies feel like they are just wondering their own business and not awaiting your attack same goes for the bosses you can actually see them chilling over some place and you needing to get there
- this game punishes you for being greedy with your attacks this game is really hardcore about the combat and you need to dodge and learn your enemies attacks before you attack yourself kinda like dark souls
-the currency in this game is very similar to dark souls and some other stuff you can see where they got the ideas from for example there is a shard called undying shard which is basically like Tears of Denial where when your health drops to a zero you get some health back and a second chance
-there are some jaw dropping moments that even made my jaw hit the ground
- the story escalated to quick barely giving you a chance to get really into the story
-the parkour and the jumping stuff got a huge downgrade compared to the second game
- the amount of bug and glitches and rendering issues is to much sometimes making me quit the game and take a break from that it needs to get fixed fast
-story is just to short and shallow
- bosses aren't that interesting or challenging plus no additional side bosses or side missions
-the lack of horse riding although you are a HORSEMAN but yea what ever
-no replay value what so ever and no new gameplus
- valgrim is a pain and for some reason they made it harder to buy health shards by upping the price of anything you buy everytime by a small amount but at some point its just to much
in conclusion this game is really good and i had a blast playing it it does have some bad moments but i gotta give some slack to thq nordic because this game was really low budgeted unlike the other triple a games in the market right now i wish they will learn of their mistakes and the next game they make will be a 10 but for now i give darksiders 3 a 7.5 out of 10… Expand

It has a really beautiful and lively environment and you can encounter some of the coolest monsters and bosses and all with some really detailed graphics . Am not sure if this is better than the first title but it is definetely better than the second one and for sure this will be one of the most underated games for this year . It is a perfect game for anyone who want to live a dark souls expirience in a more colourful backround and with some faster mechanics and ofc with a different storyline about the 7 deadly sins… Expand

My biggest issue would be it's a buggy, broken mess. The game didn't even acknowledge it was fully installed after the prologue, it muted my whole PS4 with the only remedy to it being closing the application, and has crashed multiple times throughout the course of my playthrough. Darksiders 3 also has immersion breaking loading around every corner, which always works in the enemies favor if it happens during a fight. I do like the challenge Darksiders 3 offers, but when I get in one of the multiple loading areas it just disincentivizes retrying a part I die at because just one loading can last upwards of 30-45 seconds.
The other big issue with Darksiders 3 is the combat. It is stripped of any depth the previous games had. Instead building upon the fast pace stylish action of Darksiders 2, Gunfire just had to take the slow paced Soulsborne approach. It feels shallow by Darksiders standards. Gunfire could have built upon what Darksiders 2 had, and maybe develop more of an identity for the series with it, but nope.
I hope Gunfire or whoever develops Darksiders 4 can get it right because this was mediocre.… Expand
