Wasteland 3 proves that inXile can make great games regardless of time. Only by playing it, you can tell that this new game of the franchise is far better and still enjoyable. Wasteland 3 is refreshing for old players, and fantastic to new players.

Wasteland 3 is a stunner of a game. All the strategic combat and twisted story choices the series is known for are present here -and done better than they ever have been before. Some technical issues hold the game back, but with time to patch things up, Wasteland 3 will be a stone cold classic.

Wasteland 3 is an excellent RPG by keeping the spirit of the original, while also borrowing from Xcom. While the load times get in the way sometimes, there is no denying that you need to play this game if you love a great story with an edge.

A terrifying vision of future America, that already seems worryingly accurate, and also one of the most open-ended role-playing games of recent years, with a smart line in dark comedy.

Wasteland 3 is quite buggy in its current state but the gameplay and systems still manage to shine through. With a little more polish this'll be regarded as a classic in the future. Even as it is now it's an incredibly enjoyable experience.

Wasteland 3, in the field of tactical in general and tactical RPG in particular, will inevitably suffer the comparison with some titles released since Wasteland 2, which proved that one could remain faithful to the spirit of the C-PRG without necessarily lacking a modern and deep approach. However, the old-school character of Wasteland 3 is sure to delight fans of the genre as the baby of InXile knows its lesson and recites it with some enthusiasm.

Wasteland 3 is treading creatively irradiated ground. The nuclear post-apocalypse has been explored to exhaustion, in video games and elsewhere, and no amount of weird factions or sex jokes can prevent it from feeling like an aged rock band on a comeback tour: the tunes are still decent, but there’s no youthful vigour.

Very nice! It's got everything I could have hoped for in a sequel, a true successor to Spelunky THX)

One of the biggest surprises for me. I hadn't been waiting for it honestly, but once I saw reviews and gameplays I immediately bought it on Steam. Feels like a dream come true for an old gamer who remembers all the great games of the 90s. This if literally Fallout 2 with 2020 graphics and Xcom combat system. What more can you ask for? Buy it, support the devs and rejoice! Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I would seriously rate this game higher if not for the horrible bugs. I played almost to the end (returning to Yuma speedway) and it is now frozen in the return cut scene. All the bugs to this point were usually fixed with a reload, on top of the constant crashing bugs, and I could overlook them because the game is that old school RPG, with the fallout humor. This is unacceptable for a full price release to not only have this many bugs at launch, but still gamebreaking bugs this long after launch. Maybe they will patch this 8 more times any it will be playable, but even if they did, I couldn't recommend spending money on this game. If anything, buy it used to prevent the company from banking on this QC atrocity that inXile found acceptable to launch in this state. IF you can get past the infinite glitches and bugs, there is a great CRPG to play through, with extreme replay value (if you can finish it). Unfortunately if you end up where I am (and many others find themselves), then you can't finish it once, let alone want to go through all these headaches of countless bugs just to see the alternate story arcs. Not 50 seconds into this game and you are treated to the extreme low budget effort and a complete half arsed effort. After like 15 minutes of loading you get to the character select screen and your eyes melt. Almost all the character look like either Burn Victims or Been String Victims. They are offensive to look at. These are not humans, even this early in the game and the game is clearly made my armatures.
I played a good 2 hours of it and it the same old affair, ive played heaps of this game and it does nothing new, Only original aspect is the fact it was released full of bugs and glitches, I am not going to list any, because I would be here all day. Was waiting month for this on Game Pass, I have downloaded it like a dozen times and its still buggy at launch,
