    Tails of Iron is a fantastic, brutal, and gorgeous game. Placing rats at the forefront of an adventure game was a bold move, and serves the world that Odd Bug Studio has created immensely. The battle between the frogs and rats is intense, the combat is challenging - yet fair - and the wide variety of equipment is sure to make any RPG fan excited to experiment with new loadouts. I enjoyed every moment spent in the Rat Kingdom, and can only hope to see more from Redgi, his brothers, and this fantastic world.

    Odd inventory design niggles aside and shopworn concepts aside, Tails of Iron is beautifully presented and a roundly entertaining, surprisingly grim action RPG that boasts a grandly enjoyable combat system. Fans of punishing action RPGs and grimdark fairy-tales will find much to love here.

    Tails of Iron isn’t the biggest adventure in the world – while it has numerous maps to explore, they’re not particularly expansive – but it does have a lot of heart. It’s easy to warm to Redgi despite him not having a voice, which is quite an achievement in itself, and as you travel around his kingdom, fighting off bugs, frogs and other pesky creatures, you’ll come to care about his fate. It’s the combat that’s the real star of the show here though, encouraging you to keep an eye on the various quest boards even when the tasks they offer only send you to the same few locations.

    I experienced aesthetic pleasure from this game and got a lot of adrenaline from battles and victories over bosses. The game is very difficult, especially at the highest difficulty level. I love hard games and went platinum on this game. in such a difficult game, where to pass the boss you need to die 50-100 times, it is very important that the ps5 has instant downloads after death. For those who love challenges and visual style, this is a must! It definitely takes its rightful place in my collection of masterpieces!

Very entertaining story narrated by the voice actor of Geralt of the WItcher games which makes the narration very pleasant and entertaining. Incredible OST. Gameplay is souls like, its challenging but not excessively hard its well balanced. The only problems of the game where the pacing of the story and the back tracking inside the huge stages. Really recommend this game. Its an incredibly memorable experience and its incredibly fun to play. Its one the best games I played in this entire year.… Expand

    But the game is too short, i think i beat it in about 10-11 hours because i lost a lot of fights in the harder mode. The post game is very poor too.
