I used to play this game many years back on my PC and as I remember finished it twice!
Everything is great about this game. The atmosphere (very dark and evil atmosphere), gameplay, music, story line and even graphics!
It's one of those great classic games that actually you should use you brain and memory to remember blocked and non accessible areas because you have to come back and reach these areas after obtaining new powers, new abilities and new items. It's not one of those linear games that we can see nowadays that many of them are all about just pushing a few buttons that appears on the screen and see tons of cutscenes!
Totally recommended for those who like Legacy of Kain series specially Soul Reaver fans!
P.S: It's easier to play the game with controller but keyboard also is good and forget about the mouse. it's useless!

I could not find a review section for the Dreamcast version of the game, so I'll review it here... Shadow Man is my favorite game of all time. I don't quite know why I loved it so much, been a long time since I played it, but the story was great, and the music was awesome. I played the game for 2 days straight when I first got it, because I had just bought the Dreamcast and didn't have a memory card... which really **** when I fought the final boss. My second playthrough with a memory card was much easier though. I give this game a 10, and hope they remake the game or re-release it on the Playstation Store. 10/10

Shadow Man is a dark and sinister action game. It combines the horror genre with elements of shooter and adventure. The story is super atmospheric and cool, so one of the strengths of Shadow Man. Even 21 long years after the release, this game stays an inventive and interesting genre mix. Highly recommended!

I have not found the section of this game for nintendo 64 that was the version I played. Still one of my favorite horror games of the time. Intriguing story. Great exploration and in my opinion, ahead of its time.

A 9/10 Retro game, but some people have problems with the PC port. I am not one of them, but I think that it is worth deleting 1 point of it for that. 8/10!

Summary It seems silly to malign a game about the undead by calling it lifeless, but that's exactly Shadow Man's problem.
