Sonic Lost World is a great platform game. SEGA did a great job creating a brilliant level design and mashing up the best elements from Colors and Generations. This is a solid Wii U exclusive which, along with Rayman Legends, can easily sell the Nintendo console to platformers lovers.
Sonic Lost World is certainly not a Sonic-themed Mario Galaxy. Yet, this is the most advanced and most comprehensive Sonic of the last years. Those who expected a masterpiece will probably be disappointed, but this time what we got is - at least - a good game.
Sonic Lost World can wildly swing from brilliant to horrific at the drop of a hat, but when one steps back and takes a look at the whole production, one sees far more to love than hate.
Sonic: Lost world introduces a few very strong new elements, but clings to old formulas that can’t be combined with the new 3D-style. That makes Sonic: Lost World great from time to time, but an awkward failure at others.
A handful of fun levels and some exemplary graphics do not make a great game. Sonic: Lost World is front-loaded, pocked with bad boss fights and obsessed to a fault with creating some of the coolest 2D stages of 1993.
Imitation is the highest form of flattery, but Sonic’s mimicry of Super Mario Galaxy’s planet-hopping formula is an embarrassment. Sonic Lost World is a confused mash-up of finicky platforming, aggravating level design, and some of the most aggressively annoying villains ever.
Don't let the critics fool you, this is one of the best platformers on the Wii U and a definite return to sonic's routes. The music is catchy, The level design is inventive(most notably the rail grinding levels), and the gameplay is enjoyable and fresh. Out of most of the modern sonic games, this is a big step in the right direction for the series
In my opinion, this is not a good game. It ripped mechanics straight from Mario Galaxy and only made them worse. The story is not good, and the characters were very out of personality. The music is okay, but I just don't like this game. I don't understand how this game has so many positive reviews. But then again, it's just their opinion.
Enfim, a franquia sonic está destruida, bons games ficaram no Wii, digo Sonic Colors por exemplo e talvez o Secrete Of The Rings, no Wii-U vieram Lost World e Sonic Boom, dois títulos despresíveis do console! E não se atrevam a comparar esse Sonic com Mario Galaxy, isso é blasfemar contra Mario Galaxy!
