This game is absolutely beautiful. Graphics are near realistic in most of the game. I still listen to the soundtrack while I use the laptop. This game was the most amazing thing I have ever played. The only word that can truly describe this game, is magical. Playing this game is like being IN the game, having the adventure yourself. Everything about this game is just right. The game doesn't hold your hand for too long, after you have learned everything you need to know, it lets you go and gives you a chance to do things your own way. Replay value is very high, it never gets boring! Even the cover art is beautiful! This game is everything you could wish for from a Spyro reboot, and more, and the only thing that disappointed me was that it had to end! This game is possibly the best game ever made.
Taking flight for the seemingly last time, Spyro gets regrettably grounded by some debilitating gameplay features, most notably the camera that will have gamers madly spewing fire and brimstone.
If you're the lucky parent of patient children or you're happy enough to relive faded old glories, then you might just find enough here to justify the price. Everyone else should probably steer clear of what could have been a solid platformer, but quickly becomes an all-too-familiar grind.
A lumpy ending to an uneven series, it’s unclear what conclusion Dawn of the Dragon is attempting to draw. If it’s overused set pieces, repeating gameplay, and obfuscated puzzle solving -- then Spyro succeeds.
How is this game scoring so lowly on here? Are you people without heart? Like what Black Eyed Pea sang on that song, Where is the Love? I played this game and it is truely magical, in the truest form of the word. The dragon steals the show with his fire breething capabilities. I like how in the options menu you can change the sound levels and the music levels (if you so desire). I have been blogging about games for close to 12 years now and I still find it hard to believe that more games like this arent bean made. The developers really took it up a notch on this one. The blew it outta the park and hit a home run. Its a total touchdown, a goalfest a summer barbecue. My only real problem with it is the lack of 4 player support as this wood have made it into my top 4 best games ever. Anyway, i only rented this game and played it for about 2 hours so the ending may have ruined it completely but the opening cinematic was awesome.
One of the best examples of "animal fantasy". The graphics is good, characters is lovely, controls and plot is fine. Not without gimmicks, but if you play it long enough and overcome them -- you will love this game. This game of action-platforming set in animal fantasy world literally have no alternatives.
Solid 9 out of 10.
I love this game, and I hate it.
The beginning is awesome. Some truly amazing scenes, and flying down a waterfall with some beautifully scored music to land and burn some enemies was awesome.
But, later on... the game starts to forget what it is. You'll spend 5 - 10 minutes fighting hordes of seemingly endless, identical monsters. Your fingers will start to hurt from button mashing, and the visual style goes from awe inspiring to mundane. They tried to ramp up the difficulty later, but forgot to ramp the fun up as well.
I grabbed this title new for $10 bucks from superstore. If you can get the same deal, go for it - it's a great buy.
This game is truly awful stay away from this monstrosity,if you want to destroy something this game is the best choose, shame on those who created this monster!!!!!!
