This Slavic strategy is a very distinguished successor to the first installment. It’s undoubtedly a difficult game, but you will yearn for “one more turn”.
The game has a lot more content and a lot more things to do than the first. I really loved the first one and kickstarted this one. So if you're a fan, you'll probably like it. The card game doesn't seem to interest me as much as the first one, I find myself just doing auto-resolve, so.... that's a thing. You spend a whole lot more time gathering things, since they're all so far away and on distant islands, which is a different thing. I don't think it's good or bad, but different. A bit grindy I guess. The story is good and the devs are great and will continue to work on the game till it's 10/10 I'm sure.
I'm just now getting to this game, so my experience of a fully fleshed out sequel with all the bugs fixed may be different from players in 2019. That being said, I think the game is a solid sequel to the first Thea. While the exploration and crafting formula is mostly the same, there is a lot more content to digest. More classes, skills, technology tree; just more. And though the combat overhaul seems controversial, I like what they have done here. The turn order is still there but now you have actual spots on a battlefield, not just a lineup. You also have three different battle types of equal importance: physical, mental, and spiritual. All things considered, this is a solid sequel and hope the developer keeps building on this concept. The more content and events there are, the more enjoyable replays are.
I loved the first one due to the battles, which is a card game. But this time they have redone it and made it really really bad. It was the main thing I enjoyed so sorry just 1 from me.
Maybe they will change it until final release. I'll happy change my review then.
Loved the first Thea. But this crap is a waste of time and money. They changed the card battle system and took away all the fun. NOTHING is explained and the tutorial is laughable. Devs like "Muga games" should not be allowed to exist.
