Players will spend most of their time in the new Play Now mode. Here, you're given 50 scenarios where you are immediately thrown into the heart of competition. [Dec 2002, p.90]
Commentary is witty in places and embarrassing in others.
Lacks the true simulation aspects of PC titles, but at least the series now plays, sounds, looks and controls as close to perfection as humanly possible.
A great mix of fun and realism and it brings a lot of energy to the conservative game of golf.
While not as intuitive as "Hot Shots 3," there is more depth and variety of gameplay here. [Holiday 2002, p.44]
