With this edition, Bayonetta becomes one of the best titles in the Wii U catalog, a must have for lovers of the genre and recommended even for those who usually prefer another type of games.

Bayonetta Wii U is simply the very best version of PlatimunGames's beat'em all thanks to it's concrete-stable 60 FPS frame-rate. A must-have when you know the speed of the game. Top all that with some Nintendo character love, and you got the ultimate.

Daring, challenging and balls to the wall outrageous, Bayonetta on WiiU delivers the definitive action extravaganza.

It's not the most complete edition in circulation, given the limited amount of extra tweaks and technical improvements, but it is still a must have for the owners of a Wii U, waiting for the second chapter to further raise the bar.

The original Bayonetta remains the crazy, unique action title from a few years ago. There are newly added controls and some Nintendo related costumes, but the same content is still here in full force.

Bayonetta is still one of the best action games on the market. This Platinum Games title can still appeal both newcomers and fans of the genre. The Wii U version, with its bunch of extras, is the perfect warm-up looking forward to Bayonetta 2.

The port Bayonetta on Wii U has the same timeless fighting fun as the game had when it came out on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The controls with GamePad are very annoying, but the graphics seem better.

As good as the original PS3/XB360 versions with none of the problems. I dont generally play action games - this and DMC are the exceptions. I played the PS3 original through three times, and this one once already. Nuff said. The 'Fly me to the Moon' sequence will go down in 'The Art Of Video Games' hall of fame - it is a thing of beauty. Expand

Combat is ok, just gets bit obscured with all the shiny things on screen. But it works well enough. Game doesn't seem to notice the y-axis properly tho. Someone swinging their weapon sideways underneath your character still scores a hit. Also there's few random quick time events that are unexpected and pointless. They happen in few cutscenes, so there's no way one can expect them to be there. They're just not part of the gameplay in general, so expect to die because of them. Not sure if I encountered a bug or was it on purpose, but one QTE just showed a blank button prompt (which I mistook as stick) until couple deaths it showed as Y-button.
Overall, it's an ok game. Worth of your time if you like hack/slash games with pointless QTE and timed puzzles.
Should've stick to the fighting part since thats what it does well :)
