Buy it if you liked the first one. Buy it, if you love it over the top all the way. Buy it if you love video games. Buy a Wii U if you have to. Bayonetta 2 sings all its praises in a celebration to this hobby of ours. But don't make the mistake of not playing it.
Yes get a Wii U, no its not coming to anything else, just get a damn Wii U. If one of the best gosh darn games cant change your **** opinion then quit being ****. ****...Anyway, Bayonetta 2 is easily better the original with more style, flair, and everything in between. With very few missteps like water physics and slight down time that only happen in small portions of the game it really equates to what games are defining to be. An experience worthy of playing by anyone it graces. While it certainly doesn't have the built up that the original had, it does have a constant boost of adrenaline throughout.
Bayonetta 2 erects some of the most solid fighting mechanics and phantasmagorically gonzo visuals in gaming to date—certainly, something as compulsive and massive as this boosts the Wii U to the front of the pack—and through its formal choices communicates a singular, unfiltered vision of sexualization.
A MIRACLE OF A SEQUEL.
I thought the first game was alright, and I played this game not expecting much but was blown away by the vastly improved combat, dialogue, and overall story—a must-play for everyone.
The gameplay was even better than in first game but the plot i couldn't care any less. The story was really boring and when you started to hope that it will rise to epic levels it was already over.
The new look of bayonetta is ulgy. Older was better.
I love Nintendo... yeah lets start with that..
Bayonetta 2.. I feel the same as I did the first one..
I will say for the fans of this series that it was a great and generous idea to include the first one.
However upon playing the game I wasn't too impressed.
The graphics and the colors are very appealing to where you can tell they put a lot of work into it, and I can say if you're a fan of this series you won't be disappointed.
For me in my own opinion I am a 28 year old man, so to me this game is obviously perverted and I could see anybody younger than 20 getting into this game (mostly young males).
There's a fine point where a woman in a game can be a bad ass and still be attractive but in this game series they cross the line and make it obvious of sexually objectifying her.
Yes I admit I'm not too fond of games and perversions like that. I can say yes there are games that have a perverted sense of humor that make me laugh but this like I said is why I see younger males liking a game like this.
So besides that point... why else did I not like this game?
The game really seems like a huge button mashing and most of the time you don't know whats really going on. The camera doesn't do the game much justice either.
Combo system is great but with mentioned above doesn't serve much purpose.
Another thing I don't like about this game is quick time events.
I cannot go on enough about how much I dislike quick time events, so if you want to know how I feel
then I wold suggest watching "quick time events ****" on john tron's channel.
I am glad I got to try this before buying...
Though I will say this.. If Nintendo is trying to prove they have mature games then yes Bayonetta 2 does the job (though they do have more mature titles).
I will not be owning this game.
I would say if you have never played bayonetta then take that 60 bucks you were going to spend and add that to the pre purchase of the Super Smash bros for WiiU that way you can play it Melee style.
SummaryIn this climatic sequel to the critically acclaimed Bayonetta action game, players will be on the edge of their seats from start to finish. Brimming with epic, gorgeous cut scenes and battles that are more exhilarating than ever, this game never lets up on the action. Fight on top of a jet as it soars through a downtown city. Duke it out...
