Thanks to Battle for Azeroth, World of Warcraft doesn't feel like an obsolete MMORPG any longer, on the contrary, it's fresh, fun, surprising, and … addictive. Of course, the new expansion is not without its problems, but the overall feeling is that World of Warcraft is on the right path. And for those sitting on the fence about whether or not to jump into the action again, there's only one thing I can say: Battle for Azeroth is the perfect opportunity to come back to World of Warcraft. I have to give the folks at Blizzard credit for pouring their hearts and souls into the game once again, it definitely shows.
It still is my the most favorite expansion in the history of the WoW. It was very great. There were real advantures and real atmosphere of global conflict. There was a lot of dramatism in the plot which was making you totally involved into the game. You even could choose the side of an evel "****" regime and to feel how it is to be on this side. As opposed, now in the game you only can watch stories of the life of LBGT centaurs and stories about worthless losers. It is so sad :(
While World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth hasn't been my favorite expansion in the franchise, it brought with it some great new dungeons, fantastic new raid encounters, an excellent new story, and gorgeous scenery. I have hope that what is lacking, or not working as intended will be adjusted over time. My love for the game, and the thriving community I have built within it are what keep me logging in week after week.
Battle for Azeroth, despite the endless grind, has been an exciting expansion this far. However, raids and additional content are what makes the game great. Blizzard has made the entry level into the new expansion welcoming for new players and some die-hard critics have shared their concerns with the current direction Blizzard are going with making the gaming “easier.”
Ultimately Battle for Azeroth is a worthy if somewhat less ambitious successor to 2016’s Legion. the diverse new zones and more intimate storytelling alone make Battle for Azeroth an adventure worth diving into.
Battle for Azeroth makes some great improvements in the levelling experience, but faults in its class design and the less rewarding Azerite system mean that overall, it takes too many steps back from Legion.
Unless Blizzard has some real story shake-ups and a phenomenally tuned raid on the horizon, I’m honestly expecting the sharpest player decrease to set in within the next few months. The expansion itself has some interesting ideas, but sticking to a World Quest grindfest is quickly becoming the norm, and the Island Expeditions aren’t exactly exciting.
as a roleplayer having more races is a blessing, and this expansion is where I actually tried doing mythics, maybe because I only did them for a while got this expansion a 10, because I have a lot of good memories with it, mostly because I met a guild that is sooo f-ing amazing
Azeroth paid a terrible price to end the apocalyptic march of the Legion's crusadebut even as the world's wounds are tended, it is the **** trust between the Alliance and Horde that may prove hardest to mend. As this age-old conflict reignites, join your alli
it is a solid expansion for the best MMO yes the story was as cheesy as ever and yes the expansion feature mods pale in comparison with legion, but it is still the best MMO we have out there and compared to Pandaria BFA is a masterpiece
The new areas are beautifully designed and the game presents a nice challenging pace, Warfronts (a new addition to the end game) looks promising, with the downtime that the factions have to wait till joining it going to be solved once more Warfronts are unlocked through the story (and patches).
There are some issues, but the only one to truly bother me is the fact that right now it doesn't really feel like you're part of an ongoing war between the factions. Hopefully it will be addressed in the next patch to come.
