It is by no means perfect, and the camera is a serious issue that can cause problems, but other than that it’s been a pleasure. It’s brutally hard, but the sections it is split into are just the right length for a quick blast, and seeing a boss go down is just as thrilling here as it is in Dark Souls.

With helpful advice from Lethe, your only friend in this harsh place where everything wants you dead, you will navigate through unforgiving enemies, and Monstrously huge Bosses. Gather and hone an impressively detailed arsenal, including swords, lances, clawed gauntlets, and more, each with their own fighting style and attributes. The armor is just as detailed, and intricate, changing your appearance with each piece. After playing this on console, I don't know how anyone survived the brutal 'Dark Souls' like combat on a mobile device. Grind away at the various enemies to gather materials and gold, as well as new Armor and Weapons to create an impressive arsenal, and upgrade them to devastating stats! Combat is meticulous, and slow, but not by any means boring. If you run in screaming, banner waiving, you will die... A lot! So plan your strikes, learn your foes, and time your defense, here is where you will find victory in most battles. If you are struggling, go back and defeat the prior stages, each one tells you what it could drop. Take your time, and you will have the most fun from Animus-Stand Alone. If you like heavy combat similar to that found in the 'Dark Souls' games, and a good challenge you need Animus. Expand
