Animus - Stand Alone offers an excellent hardcore action RPG experience on iOS, thanks to a deep combat system, new weapons and armors to unlock and upgrade, and a wide variety of enemies and bosses.
All in all, I have sincerely enjoyed my time with Animus- Stand Alone. It exemplifies the aspects that make the Dark Souls franchise so fun while condensing them down into a near-perfect package for mobile. The grind for cool-looking gear was a blast and I enjoyed feeling myself get stronger/better as a player. Animus- Stand Alone is currently the closest you will get to Dark Souls on mobile and it deserves to be commended for that fact alone.
Animus Stand Alone is a satisfying and stratified soulslike, able to translate a rather complex command asset into a functional and stimulating interface.

Summary ANIMUS is an Action RPG that calls upon you to bring an end to a dying world. Button mashing will get you killed. Keep a keen eye on your stamina as you block, dodge, and strike down your enemies.
