An overall good action game, but the “RPG” feel is weak with this one.

Werewolf the Apocalypse Earthblood offers an intense combat scheme, but this is incorporated in a really simple game. The story is not interesting at all and you keep doing the same things the whole time you are playing. The only really cool thing to do is, wrecking everyone and everything as a werewolf. Because of this, the game keeps up its chin and stays a mediocre title to play.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I honestly enjoyed playing this game. It’s fun and it’s a really short game which is refreshing from time to time, it also feels like an old ps2 game.
It’s fast passed, pretty easy to get through, and you play as a bad ass werewolf. The cons:
The games story didn’t draw me in at all, it felt very vague and uninteresting, the characters weren’t rememberable, it was hard to build connection to the characters. The game never felt rewarding. You go threw such a long process of finding your daughter and defeating the bad guy (spoilers) but everyone your character tried to save dies, the wife, child, and friends. The bad guy gets away, nothing went as planned. The game clearly set up for a second and let’s just hope they bring the story to life with better voice acting.
The game had unnecessary stealth, or just annoying tedious task, or doors would be locked but right next to them were vents to get go threw. I feel like if they made it slightly more of a challenge rather than a annoyance it would have been better.
Over all I enjoyed playing the game, the story was alright, and I had fun with it. I would recommend playing it but I wouldn’t recommend paying full price.

At best a Dreamcast era game, without the nostalgia, good animations and game play, really, really bad.
