Finally Portal Knights is among us! So far the game is amazing with beautifully charming graphics. The control seems spot on with a lock-on and dodge system. I created a Ranger to start things off. This is the game I always wanted after playing Minecraft for a long time on the PS4. Minecraft with better graphics, combat system and RPG elements. The COOP works flawlessly as I have been playing COOP with my son. I highly recommend this game!
Portal Knights is an amazing take on the block builder genre, offering loads of content, not to mention a lot of free content with updates. The DLC is all very fairly priced, especially considering you can get as many of what you bought as you'd like. The game looks great, runs smooth, and has lots to come back for. The holiday events are also a lot of fun. The only reason I can't give it a perfect score is due to difficulty curve on the optional Hard Mode Bosses and High Rifts, though as I stated these are optional but enough to make even some of the most hardened completionists give up. All in all, though, 100% worth the buy.
If you are looking for a game very similar to Minecraft, this is your game.
In this game, the player explores different types of worlds from the forest to the desert, in all of them you will have to collect many materials and enter dungeons in each world that were randomly generated except in the first worlds (because they are tutorials).
The soundtrack is relaxing and appropriate to every moment of the game: battles, exploration, final bosses...
The graphics are not as good as the games of this modern generation, but they fit the games of this class.
One of the problems of the game is that it can make people who are not accustomed to these games feel tired.
Another defect is that this game is a casual game that does not correspond to the types of games that should be on these consoles, if you have a more casual console, specifically Nintendo Switch, I would recommend that you at least try this game.
In conclusion, this game is for players who like to play relaxing games in which you have to build, explore, and do not mind the time you are playing because the hours in this game become seconds.
I really love this game overall and indeed prefer it to minecraft based on my personal preferences. Things like tools never braking, no hunger, more interesting combat, smaller environments, quite a few other conveniences and ever the more coloful and vibrant design overall makes it for me a minecraft alternative that i can easily get in to. Its not a perfect game, it has some bugs, the combat is not exactly great but overall a pretty decent game.
This game was fun for a while but at 50% through the game it feels pretty repetitive. I played with a friend so I would not suggest playing on your own.
I would not buy this game the creators are only out for money the best blocks in the game are divided amongst PC Nintendo PlayStation and Xbox should have to have four systems in order to get all the blocks and you have to buy the game four times in order to get all of the stuff that they offer for avid game players this is not the game for you because it will leave you disappointed and angry.
