Bubsy: The Woolies Strike Back underwhelms and disappoints at every turn. Bland level design never improves, and tedious boss battles are unrewarding and unsatisfying. Bubsy's return 21 years later could have reminded us why he was once considered a potential peer to the likes of Mario and Sonic. Instead, The Woolies Strike Back only serves to remind us why the mascot hasn't seen a new adventure in over two decades.
best game ever goddamn made. fun gameplay. clever jokes. masterful writing, this goes up with garfield kart and cory in the house for the nintendo ds as one of the best games humanity ever made. and tirah. you are too idiotic to get the clever jokes and fun gameplay. you uncultured swine.
Bubsy: The Woolies Strike Back is a wholly unremarkable experience. The presentation, controls, and level design are all lacking, and the handful of stages offer little variety. It’s not the worst platformer ever – it’s not even the worst Bubsy game – it’s simply inconsequential, forgettable, and bland in every aspect. Fans of the original games may get a kick out of this, but even they may feel disappointed by the bobcat’s latest, and probably last, adventure.
Bubsy: The Woolies Strike Back is a mess. Bad controls, uninspired enemy and level design, and a total lack of motivation to keep playing. I want to find something nice to say about it, but even the three boss fights are tedious, confusing slogs. The game ends with a promise that Bubsy will return in another installment, but it feels more like a threat.
This is unironically the best video game ever made in video game history. I'm so shocked that this is somehow even better than Bubsy 3D which I thought used to be the best game ever! Mario or sonic will never be as good as Bubsy 3d or this masterpiece
