If you're one of my fellow, bitter, retrogamers, Frogatto will be a breath of fresh air in a world filled with motion control, exercise games and war simulations. Despite the jumping mechanics that may test your patience, this game is a lengthy, polished platformer that serves up hours of nostalgic, amphibious fun.
Frogatto is a nice and cute platform game, which does almost everything right: it's not so great in terms of desing and sheer originality, but it's fun and engaging enough to be one of the best in its genre on iPhone.
The character dialogue is well-written, and its 30 levels make it a fairly lengthy platformer, so at its $1.99 price point it'd be a shame to pass it up.
Despite some frustrating control concerns, Frogatto rises to the challenge and is still a stunning platformer in the face of adversity.

Bursting with pixel charm and offering up a vast, detailed world to explore, Frogatto boasts all the hallmarks of a truly classic 2D platform adventure without the spot-on controls.
