Plants vs. Zombies Heroes has to walk a fine line balancing between the expectations of its franchise and its genre while also offering enough freshness to stand apart from them, and the fact that it does it with so much style deserves applause. If there’s room in the market for more than one big name CCG, this has a definite shot to be in that mix.
Plants vs. Zombies takes on Hearthstone in a way that is endearing and surprisingly fun.

This is the best Plants VS Zombies game ever!! I can dominate the competition and reclaim my crown as the KING of Plants VS Zombies Heroes! OMG!! This game is amazing! : D

Gameplay is better than Hearthstone. Can't wait until they get more features and sets!
Art is really good. I like that all the characters are animated. The animations of plants and zombies are hilarious

I think the whole thing works so well, I hope that EA decides to release it on PC, and even on consoles. The brand already has a presence outside of mobile and tablet, and I think this game would do well in the same markets as Hearthstone. And really, I like this game a lot more than the original Plants Vs. Zombies. It’s harder to compare it to Garden Warfare since that’s a full-blown shooter and it’s like comparing Guacodiles to Zapricots.
Tower defense turned into a card game and for me it’s the best Plants vs. Zombies game in years. [13/2016, p.82]
The transition to cards has been successful for these warriors. A very engaging game with a well-balanced free-to-play system that it's worth a try.
A Hearthstone-like CCC game plenty of great characters, fun gameplay and customization options.
It might not have the chops of Clash Royale, but Plants vs Zombies: Heroes is still a lot of fun.
I love the plants vs zombies franchise. Plants vs Zombies heroes is something different and interesting to introduce to the franchise.

not a bad card game, a good idea including it with the pvz lore,the p2w its not as much as pvz2 but very entertaining to pass the time,im not a card gamer but this game has a interesting way to play with pvz good game overall.

While better than Plants vs Zombies 2, Plants vs Zombies Heroes is not a good example ****. However, this game is not pay-to-win as Plants vs Zombies 2 (it still is pay-to-win). The plot is much better, though if they increased the chance of getting a hero, didn't reduce the fighting force some plants and zombies, this would be a good game.

Once players dived into a certain stage, they shower AI tons of rare cards just to make sure you lose 200% so that you have to throw your money against cheating AI. Playing with random players is another joke to watch, they don't find a equal match but someone who just simply pay to win, throwing every legendary card at you without shame and brain. This is not about plan our strategy or deck wise, it's all about money. If there is a auto-match feature, just throw as much as money you have and turn it on, you won't lose.
