Is bad just cuz you don't have money to spend in game ???@pacheon??or cuz you age is about 15??it's easy to say ''bad.........'' when you are monosyllabic
It has its inovattions and its flaws.
Flaws:
• The game has an automatic mode, which in theory is there to help, but which, combined with grinding, ends up "forcing" you to leave the computer on not to fall behind other players. If it were 100% manual, but easier to gain experience, and the stamina were limited so that you can only play for a limited number of hours, it'd be better for the casual audience.
• Day limited events: In order to get stronger, you need to collect red dragon statuses to craft an "Epic Spirit Summon Box" and get 'Epic' "companions"/"pets", but there're limited ways to do so. The easiest one is by doing "Clan Expedition", but it is limited to only Saturday. It strongly limits player progression. Not all players can play during Saturday. If all events could be done during Sunday it'd be better.
• Repeated content: It's a mobile game, updates can't add much content without increasing the size of the game, so a lot of content is reutilized. e.g in the Mirage Ship update all "dimensions" (World 1, World 2, ..) are early game levels, but instanced with stronger mobs and unique bosses. All magic square and secret peak levels utilize the same models. If the game had different scenarios some parts'd be less tedious.
• Time requirement: In order to level up faster, increase skill levels and get materials to craft high-tier items, you can enter both "Magic Square" and 'Secret Peak". Three daily tickets (30 minutes) are given for each. In order to fully take advantage of the tickets, you've to spend 3 hours. There's also the "Domination Server" that opens for 4 hours, the "Server Expedition" (lasts 3 hours, happens once a week, you can visit another server, kill players and collect "mystical pieces" there) and, if you take part of the strongest clan, there's also the world bosses (4 bosses a day) they need help with. It's a game that requires too much time.
• Cash: At the same time I like the things in the game for being expensive, as if they were cheaper players who spend just a few dimes would become overpowered and non-paying players wouldn't have a chance agaisn't, I dislike the fact that there isn't a spending limit. There're rich players who own casinos and shopping malls in real life and spend hundreds of dollars/euros to make their character 'almost impossible' to defeat and enforce rules on other players.
But it also inovatted the genre.
• Character NFTs: If you decide not to play anymore, you can sell your character by spending 4000 gold (~$7) and transforming it into an NFT. My lvl. 100 lancer (150k) and arbalist (142k) would sell for $60 and ~$80 if I decided to sell them both. With exchange fees, I'd receive $95~$100 in the end. For players that spend money ingame, the character sells for ~30% of the value spent. In other MMORPGs you only have two options: illegally sell your character, or "leave it untouched". MIR4 innovated with NFTs.
• Cross-server events: There're castle battles clans can take part in, but requires players to be in the same server to participate, but there're also emperor battles that happen with all the clans who've castles. Players make cross-server alliances to win these events, organizate players in different clans, .. and during the before mentioned "Server Expedition", players can help with world bosses, or collaborate with other players to steal the bosses from another clan. This is something I haven't seen in any other MMORPG, and there's also the Black Dragon Tower.
• Tower of Dragon: If you don't want to spend money ingame, or spend much money, but still want to take part in massive PVP events and do the regular ingame contents you can either create a Taoist character (they can ressurect even much stronger characters, they're overvalorized by clans) or buy one and 'lock' the level to 120, 125 or 130 to fight with players who've also 'frozen' the level. It's a place where players from all servers join together to fight for resources & materials and craft better gear, level up skills, and get better 'magical stones' & 'spectrumites'. There're many different teams there.
It'd say it's ok, it's good. But if you play it, don't let competitiveness get to the head. Play it casually.
