Overwatch® 2 builds on an award-winning foundation of epic competitive play, and challenges the world's heroes to team up, power up, and take on an overwhelming outbreak of threats around the globe. A VISUAL EVOLUTION: Overwatch 2 evolves the look and feel of the world, with more dynamic environments, larger scale battles, additional in-game storytelling events, and improved atmospheric effects and shadows. Heroes in Overwatch 2 will also have a brand-new look, with greater detail and higher fidelity.

A NEW ERA OF EPIC COMPETITION
In Push, a new, symmetrical map type that will launch with Overwatch 2, teams battle to take control of a robot that begins in a central location, then push it toward the enemy base. Either team may take control of the robot at any time. The team that pushes the robot furthest onto the enemy side wins the game.

POWER UP AND SAVE THE WORLD
Play an active role in the next chapter of the Overwatch saga through a series of intense four-player missions. Fight back against Null Sector, uncover the motives behind the omnic attacks, and confront a rising wave of new threats.

    YOUR MISSION CONTINUES
Your accomplishments and loot collections will be carried forward to Overwatch 2. That means you'll keep your skins, player icons, sprays, emotes, and more!

    NEW MAPS AND HEROES
Current Overwatch players will battle side-by-side with Overwatch 2 players in PvP multiplayer; they'll also be able to play Overwatch 2 heroes and maps.

Overwatch 2 plays brilliantly. It’s a wonderful shooter full of depth, with unique heroes to master, maps to learn, and hours of your life to lose all over again.

Overwatch 2 doesn’t flip the formula the way you might expect a long-awaited, numbered sequel would. But through various clever tweaks, it’s a well-rounded evolution of the experience into which I’ve poured more than a thousand hours since 2016. I may never recreate the magic of those first few years in Overwatch, but Overwatch 2 is a big step towards restoring the faith in the franchise and has me thinking it’s time to pour a few more hundred hours into my favorite team-based shooter.

This sequel is not revolutionary as the first chapter: it is simply what who wanted a more up-to-date PvP structure needed. The 5 vs 5 gameplay works and is smoother, but in the new era of the franchise seems like there is less space than before for casual or not competitive players.

As you can see, Overwatch 2 isn't really Overwatch 2; it's more of a big content update or upgrade. The license will get a new game when the story mode is released in 2023 (which will require an update of this test by the way). However, despite the economic system that is very surprising and not looked upon favorably, the competitive games are still very exciting. The new heroines are excellent and the maps are just as good, and it's still fun to watch the talented designers at Blizzard. We hope that the developers will continue on this path and offer their very committed community a game that will meet their expectations.

While the game is called Overwatch 2, this all seems more like a transition to a full new game. The biggest changes are dropping the 6v6 gameplay in favour of a much more exciting 5v5 format. Three new heroes are also available, along with a new game mode, but for a final and real verdict, everyone should wait for the upcoming PvE segment.

Overwatch 2 is the awaited game that keeps on the legacy of the 2016 hero-shooter of Blizzard. With little news and a lot of problems with servers and bugs, the experience of the game has been a complete nightmare for a lot of users. But, it's not a secret that the game core is mainly the same as before: tons of fun playing with friends and alone, with an even bigger roaster of heroes and maps, and even new game modes, Overwatch 2 is the game that the fans of the franchise will love.

While Overwatch 2 adds a host of heroes and features to Blizzard’s iconic FPS game, its PvP feels more like a simple content update than a full blown sequel.

In competitive mode, you get a group of leavers. As same as Overwatch 1, but it's free now.

They really killed OW1 for this. It's absolutely disgusting. The game I loved to play since the beta is just gone and I don't get it back. OW2They really killed OW1 for this. But that's not even the point.
The gameplay is good, but other than maps and a couple of characters, nothing has changed in the game, meticulous donation, idiotic battlepass with a price tag under the ceiling and equally idiotic quests. "You can get everything just by playing the game," right ? Thanks, I'm not going to spend billions of time in the game to get a skin I like by paying for this game earlier. Especially your ways of getting things involve living in it.
    Bring back the Lootboxes.
    Take away Battlepass.
Fix the login to the game
    Fix the known optimization problems
And what ? Buy heroes in the future ?
    Blizzard, Overwatch 2 is disgusting.
