The first Blizzard shooter excels above the current competition in all aspects. A distinctive audiovisual style and plenty of pleasant details on each step are nice additions to its precisely-tuned gameplay. [Issue#265]

Pretty much everything about this game feels fresh and exciting: the class-based combat, the art style, the roster, the modes. It's equal parts strategic and twitchy, encouraging you to think while also rewarding skill, and its roster is a delight. Overwatch may well be the best new multiplayer shooter to come along since Modern Warfare and Team Fortress 2 took 2007 by storm. I can't wait to play more.

A gaming experience that’s more polished and exciting than I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing and one I’ll be sure to continue to play for the foreseeable future. If not for the inclusion of microtransactions, this would have been a perfect game in my book.

It's that intoxicating path of discovery that makes Overwatch so varied, so rewarding, and ultimately another seminal release from developer Blizzard. Overwatch is an intelligent cascade of disparate ideas, supporting one another, pouring into one another, and coiling around themselves as they flow into the brilliant shooter underneath.

A great package: fun, accessible and extremely well-made. It's a shooter as much for those pledge their lives to online play, as those chiefly interested in the occasional fun foray. It's an instant classic that, with the kind of good post-launch support Blizzard is known for, could prove the go-to shooter for an entire generation of gamers.

If you are a first-person shooter fan generally, and if you enjoy team-based FPS play specifically, not at least trying Overwatch feels criminal. Blizzard always imparts a deep sense of holistic quality into its games, and Overwatch is no exception.

Blizzard has created a solid team FPS but right now it's light on content.

Easily one of the best multiplayer first person shooters. Vastly better than Team Fortress 2, which i used to play in the past.

The graphics , sounds, and general production values are incredible. The game is very polished, and runs incredibly well even on very low powered hardware.

Movement is fluid and fast, and the shooting is satsfying.

Heroes are really distinct and have their own personality and gameplay. No hero plays the same like another. Also, since i have seen this online lately, disregard anyone who complains about hero balance and about cheesy tactics that are somehow "unbeatable". This is clearly a "learn to play" issue. I played the Beta a lot, and let me tell you, that balance is in a very good place, though could be improved even more. Everything has its counters.

While this game has only 12 maps right now, and it is repetitive, it manages to stay fun and interesting for a surprisingly long time. The main reason for this is that the game has immense depth under the casual-friendly appearence, it is one of those easy to learn but very hard to master games. There is always something new to try and learn. And the competitive aspect of the game will keep you coming for more.

The main downside of this game, is that if you have no friends to play with, you won't get nearly the same satisfaction with those who do have their own party. This game is heavily based around teamwork and tactics. You can still find success solo, of course, but will be more difficult.

Other than that, the game deserves its price. Totally recommended.

Each hero is completely different to another, the game itself is very different from other FPS.
It would be excellent but having 21 heroes and a few maps experience becomes repetitive but not boring.

The biggest reason it gets such a low score for me is theOver all Overwatch is a very pretty and mechanically decent multiplayer shooter. The biggest reason it gets such a low score for me is the poor hit registration. After playing for a few days I've noticed I die pretty frequently just after moving behind a wall or just after dashing out of the way. The kill cam doesn't show me moving at all, even at very low (>20ms) ping. It feels like Overwatch uses a "favor the shooter" approach to discrepancies in hit registration. Making twitch reactions or last second clutch plays impossible.

I've also had issues with people leaving my games, or being put into games as they end. Someone leaving basically gauntness victory for the other team, and joining a game where a team was one player down for a few minutes is no fun either. There do't seem to be any penalties for leaving, and as far as I can tell its actually encouraged in some places. If a friend invites you to play while you are in a game, a message comes up on your screen inviting you. If you accept you abandon the current game and join a lobby with your friend, screwing over your teammates from that match as they are now down a player.

Other than that, the game modes and maps aren't super special but it is still a pretty fun game to hop into every now and then and blow off some steam. I would not recommend taking the game to seriously or trying to play competitively as there are too many things out of your control that effect the outcome of the game. (Poor hit detection, a couple unbalanced heroes, people joining and leaving games, lack of information about team, etc.)

    TL;DR
You never get evened matches, it's either you win easily or get wiped easily, all depends on the awful matchmaking system that sometimes gets your normal teams and sometimes gets you the worst ones ever.
I never hated a game so much and I'm only playing it because there's absolutely no other game to play at this time.

    1. Role Queue
Since it got released I never played dps because waiting 20 minutes for a queue is just a no no so I always play a healer and most times it's just dps moira, because I wanna dps

    2. Placements
Playing as a healer to get the best placement possible then on the 10th game someone from your team quits and you get a loss and it counts as a part of the placements and you get 2300 rank matchmaked with horrible noobs forever because the matchmaking system is the worst.

    3. Worst matchmaking system
Get an awesome cooperative team then get the worst team or the one player that sabotages the match.
Means you can never really progress through the 3000 barrier even if you carry your team every game.

If the game would'v evaluate the players better it could'v team up better and fair matches and this game could'v been perfect.

    But it's the opposite.
